There was a problem with a relay on the fan that was difficult to diagnose (other repair folks were unable to fix too). They were able to replace the part and even swapped my thermostats for an Ecobee that I purchased. Excellent service and excellent support. I would highly recommend them.

Basically they could not even give us a response time so we called someone else. After using them for years we expected better service. I had noticed last time they came to the house that they lost  some of the great employees . They have replaced them with not so great or just inexperienced new kids. Last time at the house was unpleasant and very expensive. It was time to replace them with someone new and we have. Hope they get things together and hire more experienced staff again. I need to have confidence in what I am paying for.

Our A/C went out on Sunday before Labor Day. I called at 7:01 on Labor Day morning and left a message. Cindy returned my call around 7:30. I explained what was going on and she said she would have someone come out. I asked whether it would be today or later in the week. She said something like, and quot;No, no, we'll have someone out there this morning.and quot; At 10:00, the technician showed up. By 11:00 he found the problem (ants had gotten into one of the curcuit cards and shorted it out) and had repaired it for much less than I expected. They didn't try to upsell me or talk me into any and quot;specialand quot; services. They responded quickly, found the problem, resolved it, and charged me a more than fair price making a customer happy, all in 4 hours.
Since they left, we have been talkng about replacing the aging A/C system. We talked to Burkholder and they told us about some rebates that were available. We asked them to provide us a quote including the rebates. In other words, we were so impressed with their service that we have asked them to (potentially) do additional work.

The system has been running fine. We have had no problems. The service was good and the price was excellent.

Technician arrived promptly and completed tune up timely. He flushed out a drainage area and showed my husband how to maintain it. The lady who does the scheduling was very polite. We were happy with service and will definitely call them for future air conditioning needs.

For the last 12 years we have used Burkholders for both our home and office. They have been very professional, prompt, honest and dependable. They have serviced our units and replaced units that needed to be replaced. They have even talked us through problems over the phone.

They sent out an unprofessional, untrained person who over charged me and didn't know what he was doing. It was horrible. They sent extra people out and charged me for everyone's time. I said you can'tbe serious and he said that's the bill.

They are very honest, punctual and do not try to sell you anything. I recommend them to anybody. I have been using them for about 15 years.

I found them totally satisfactory, I was pleased find someone I liked.

THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY (WITHIN 24 HOURS) AND DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB. WE HAD BEEN TOLD PREVIOUSLY BY ANOTHER COMPANY THAT WE COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT THE AIR FLOW IN THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS, BUT BURKHOLDER FOUND A WAY TO REDIRECT THE AIR THROUGH THE DUCTS AND CREATED BETTER AIR FLOW.
