They made three different visits to insure I had the desired fabric and were punctual in providing and installing them. Enjoyed discussions both with the sales reps and installer. Installation was done quickly and good clean-up. No complaints.

I had done some research online and called others for a quote. I was lead to believe that real wood shutters would be more expensive and faux wood would last longer. After speaking with Budget Blinds I learned that wood shutters were affordable and offered the quality in product that would last. I had entered my phone number in the evening and expected a call the next morning. To my surprise I received a call back within 30 minutes. Rick Delong asked a few questions to find out what I was looking for and set up an appointment to meet. I was shocked at the price for 3 1/2in louvers and z frames for 5 (rather large windows), 2 front windows, and back door. I was quoted 4 times that for faux shutters. He took the measurements and his wife explained and gathered all the details offered. They were a great team, professional, and easy going. They installed temporary blinds to cover the windows until the shutters were installed. Once the shutters were made and ready for install (2 wks early), we received a call. I could not believe how quickly they had installed them. Again, very professional team and they were very thorough. I have already called Budget Blinds for additional shutters and would absolutely recommend them. I am so impressed with the final outcome and thankful for such a beautiful product.

It has been a great experience. They did our downstairs, upstairs, and our showers. Every experience has been above top notch. The owners are very honest and are great people to deal with all around. The installers were fantastic. I can't say anything but great words about them. I would recommend them to anyone without question.

We are very happy with the quality and appearance of the shutters. Rick came our house to do the measurements. He is very knowledgeable and goes over all the options with you in detail. We used many of his suggestions and the outcome is terrific. Rick and Melinda's excellent customer service does set them apart from the rest. The shutters came in earlier than expected, so we are ready for company during the holidays. We highly recommend Budget Blinds Northeast and we will definitely use them again.

It was perfect from first contact to finished product. Everyone was on time, friendly and professional. The shutters are everything I had hoped for and the blinds are very nice. This is a company that takes pride in their work and it shows.

Blinds and shades were delevired when promised and installed.  couldn't be happier with the blinds.  We purchased fauxwood blinds and day/night cellular shades.  Will recommend them to anyone looking for blinds.

Impressive presentation by Rick and Melinda who were informative, friendly, and helpful in narrowing down choices. They volunteered invaluable suggestions/information that other consultants did not. They showed me actual examples of the blinds, shutters, and crown molding trims. They described their compositions/advantages, how long they were warrantied (25 years!), and how the different parts worked. They also had lots of pictures on their data pad that demonstrated examples of finished jobs in homes--this was extremely helpful in choosing between "routed" and "routless" slats.  I had talked with several other companies and visited showrooms to compare  products, and the products at Budget Blinds were f ar more attractive and reasonable in cost.
Rick and Melinda measured, put up temporary blinds, and explained the entire process from start to finish. While installing the blinds they were quick, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves so that not a speck of packing was left on the floor. The blinds usually take 2-3 weeks but came in early; the shutters took the predicted 10 weeks. Jorge installed the shutters and did a wonderful job. They look beautiful ! Overall, I am extremely pleased by the whole experience and I would highly recommend them. This company offers discounts and honors Angie's List coupons as well. Don't be thrown by the name of the company--they offer superior products at a reasonable price (not cheap, but then none of them are unless you buy pre-made blnds at Walmarts or Home Depot). I'm glad that I went with this company and would use them again in the future.

Let me start the review by stating that Rick and Malinda did an absolutely outstanding job with consulting and installing the blinds in our new house.  We could not be happier with the experience.  The quality of the blinds and the professional installation are a great combination and would be hard to equal from any other source. 

Our house has a lot of large windows and we did not relish the idea of trying to do blinds ourselves.  Our builder recommended Budget Blinds of Northeast San Antonio so we gave them a call.  They were at our house within a matter of days to do the estimate and provided us with a lot of valuable guidance and recommendations as we stepped through the process. 

We approved their estimate and expected to receive the blinds in 2-3 weeks.  It was a great surprise when the blinds came in early - they were ready 8 days after the order!  Rick and Malinda arrived as scheduled and did a great job on the install.  They were friendly and efficient and cleaned up and hauled off the packing materials, etc. once the job was complete.  They were as excited as we were to see how great the blinds looked.  It was clear they have a passion for the business and a strong desire to please the customer.

I could go on and on but you probably get the picture by now: this is a great company to do business with.  Rick and Malinda are professionals who really do care about providing quality products and great service.  I have NO reservations referring others to Rick and Malinda. 

As an additional footnote - within a couple of weeks of installation we discovered minor defects in two of the blinds.  We contacted Rick and Malinda and they immediately ordered replacement blinds which arrived quickly and were installed at our convenience.  In my opinion, this is a clear indication of the extremely high level of customer service you will receive from these guys. 

If you are looking for blinds, shutters, etc. you owe it to yourself to talk to Budget Blinds of Northeast San Antonio.  They will do a great job at a reasonable price and will not forget you once the installation is done. 

Jeff, the salesman, came out to the house at the designated meeting time. He showed me several different choices based on the type of blind I'd requested, and told me about a couple of sales. I think the installer's name was Jordan, he came out several weeks later when the house was ready for install. I also worked with Kari over the phone to work out details of appointments and payment. The house was in the process of being built/and our moving. Kari worked with me on install date, and called a couple of times just to check in.
The blinds are very nice, we like them a lot. We have several arched windows that I was unsure of how the blinds would look, and they turned out great. Thanks!

Excellent job. I love these blinds and loved the design consultation I received. The installation went fast and everything arrived perfectly on time.

I was having a mobile home remodeled to be rented.  I called Budget Blinds and they promptly returned my call.  We arranged for an estimate, then they returned with samples and helped me pick out what would look best. They arrived when they were scheduled.
I was not present when they installed the blinds.  But you could not tell they had been there except for the beautiful binds on the windows, they cleaned up after themselves.
I also had them do one window in my home.  Am also very pleased with them.  Look very nice.
The Budget Blinds website allows you to order a few samples at no cost.  I wish the website would give prices, that way the samples you order are in the budget.
I would definitely use them again.

Rick and Melinda are true professionals, will continue to use them over again.  They called before they arrived, arrived on time, completed the work, cleaned up and the best part guaranteed the work.

I had called Budget Blinds (Rick and Melinda DeLong) about a year ago for an estimate for cellular blinds.  They came to my home, measured my windows, and gave me a detailed estimate.  I finally decided this month to continue with my remodeling project and called Budget Blinds again.  They had my estimate on file and came back to the home to review a new wall paint color.  We decided that the original blind color we selected would work quite nicely. 
Rick and Melinda brought the new blinds to the house yesterday and installed them.  They look just great!  And what a pleasure it was to work with them.  An extra bonus is that they have all the samples in their company van so I was able to see what the actual blind would look like in my home.  And the time from order to installation was about only two weeks.  Amazing.

I found them on Angie's List.   I purchased vertical blinds and they were installed on two large patio doors, in the family room, and dinning room.  We had wood shutters made and installed for two arched windows in the living room.  It's a husband and wife team. They came and spent time, especially Melinda, helping me in the selection process.  I enjoyed working with them.

Called and left a message to schedule an appointment.  Malinda called me back in a relatively short period.  We scheduled the appointment for a few days later.  Rick called well in advance of the appointment to reschedule.  Rick showed up on time for the appointment.  Showed me the products they offered.  Discussed their blinds and the warranty.  He measured each window in several places for a good fitting blind.  Budget Blinds’ price was about 10% better than an earlier quote from a different company for a comparable product.  I placed the order and Rick advised me the Blinds could take up to 2 – 3 weeks but may come in earlier.  The blinds arrived one week later and Rick came right out and installed them.  Installation was seamless and the blinds are very nice.  Overall I am very pleased with the service from Budget Blinds and Rick and Malinda are very cordial people.

Well, the experience was great. I think most consumers want a good product, at a fair price, with professional service. Budget Blinds of NE San Antonio went beyond my expectations. The entire process went smoothly. I was having the inside of the house repainted near the same time, and Budget Blinds checked with me regularly so that we could coordinate the process with a minimun of time that we would be without window coverings. The new faux wood blinds really "pop" with our colored walls. My wife and I are more than happy with the service and the product.

They did a very good job.  They were on time; they came out and measured for us, and they returned all our calls.  They were informative.  He explained the difference in all the shades that I had, and he was helpful in telling me what I could buy.  He was very professional.  They were better priced than the others.  We would continue to use them in the future if we needed to.
