Budget Blinds of North San Antonio

Budget Blinds came to my home and took measurements. One month later I put down half for the blind service. The girl told me it would take 1 1/2 months. It has been two months and I have called this company many times. No one seems to know where my order is and they accused me of not paying. I have sent them my receipt and credit card info. Now they just ignore my calls. I'm afraid I got ripped off. Attorney General, here we come.

Installer (Matt) got here early and did an excellent job.

Needed new " Norman " brand shutter for kitchen remodel. We had these shutters installed throughout the house years ago, and wanted to match the existing shutters. The company used previously no longer handles that brand, and instructed me to call "Budget Blinds North San Antonio". Contacted them, and they had someone out within 24 hours to measure new window for the shutter. Once shutter was ready they called to set up a a day and time for shutter install. Installer called ahead to let me know he was heading my way and installation went without any issue. Great customer service.

We couldn't be more pleased! Budget Blinds in North SA was courteous, competent and professional in every way. Serene assisted us in selecting the best options for our windows within our budget and patiently worked through numerous pricing quotes as we looked at various window treatments. She even helped us maximize our manufacturer's rebate! Helen expertly measured the windows with timely suggestions to help us make our final selections. And David professionally installed the shades exactly as designed, giving us tips for initial use and maintenance. All visits to our home were prompt and were preceded with a confirmation call the day before. All in all it was a very satisfying purchasing experience!

Budget blinds showed us some options in the showroom and scheduled a meeting with a consultant at our house. We walked through where we needed blinds and roughly the style we wanted. She made suggetions about styles, options and tradeoffs. We ended up with a reasonably priced design that fits the style of the house. Time for the order to get made was around three weeks. The installer showed up on time, was professional, and installed all the blinds in a couple of hours. All in all, it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend them.

One of the owners, Linda, came to the house and showed us the various types of plantation shutters available. She was pleasant and professional. She remembered doing work for us in our old house several years ago. She measured all of our windows and gave us an approximate install date (which was pretty accurate considering the shutters are custom made). No hard sell. Her manner left us feeling confident that we had chosen the right company, which was important since we were paying more than buy-and-install-yourself prices. The installation went without a hitch. Matt and his helper completed the entire house in about five hours. Every shutter fit the window to which it was assigned. The house was left pretty clean (some dust is inevitable) and they even took our old blinds. All in all, a superb job. The house looks great. We would not hesitate to do business with Budget Blinds a third time should the occasion arise and we would certainly recommend them to anyone considering window treatments

I contacted Budget Blinds and spoke with Linda to setup an appointment for a shutters and blinds estimate. Jeff came out to provide the estimate. Since I knew what I wanted, Jeff presented a couple of options for the shutters, and he proceeded to measure all the windows. Once all the measurements were completed, Jeff provided the estimate along with an estimated delivery time.
I received two other quotes and Budget Blinds had the best price, and I felt most comfortable with them so I placed the order.
The blinds arrives two weeks later (as estimated by Jeff), and I received a call to schedule the installation of the blinds.
Installation of the blinds took less than 30 minutes, and I am pleased with the quality of the blinds.
The shutters arrived 6 weeks from the order date (as estimated by Jeff). Budget Blinds called to schedule the install. The 9 shutters took about 90 minutes to install and the installer was professional and efficient.
I'm very pleased with the shutters and the overall experience with Budget Blinds.

Great prices and great experience. Never any pressure to buy something more expensive. Blinds were ordered and installed within 2 weeks. Would go back in a minute!!

From the initial design consultation, through installation, the experience was exceptional! Linda Schield really helped me with the design choices (twice) and they came out beautifully! Both Keri and Janelle in the design center were extremely helpful when I came in for samples to help with other renovations we were doing in our home (baseboards, trim, and paint). They were very understanding and patient with me when I had to reschedule the install a couple of times due to other renovations in the home taking longer than expected. The installers were extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to work around the chaos created by the other renovations. I can't say how much I appreciate and how pleased I am with our new window treatments! If I could rate Budget Blinds N-San Antonio higher than an A, I absolutely would! Fantastic, friendly, professional service all around!

Linda Shield was terrific to work with. She came to my home and made wonderful recommendations for custom draperies that coordinated nicely with my furniture and rugs. Whenever I spoke with anone who worked in her store to schedule appointments, installation, etc., they were extremely pleasant and helpful. The installers who worked with Linda were excellent as well, very meticulous and professional. I would not hesitate to again contact Linda and her team for window treatments.
