Work was done very well and service was timely and professional. Billed time was 2.5 hours and labor cost was $400.00, or $160.00 per hour. Have since found another very good electrician at a much more reasonable rate.
Response from Bolt Electric LLC
"A "D" for pricing? What [Member Name Removed] failed to mention is that our hourly rate also includes a service/dispatch fee. $160 an hour is not a fair analysis of our labor rates, There are a lot of factors that determine the labor prices on any particular job, and it should be noted that we were in the customers attic in "July" ( with temperatures in excess of 160 degrees) pulling the data lines. I do not disagree that there are other electricians that are cheaper than us, but not all electricians have the proper insurance, experience and licensing required by the state of Texas. From my experience cheaper Is not necessarily "better". Take a moment and go online and read all of Bolt Electric's reviews. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. It is never our intention to price gouge any of our customers."

We used Ronnie for several jobs at our last house and were very happy. When we bought a new house that the inspector pointed out several things, we got an estimate quickly from Bolt. He did the work in a few short days and was friendly, clean, and professional. He always takes the time to explain what the issue is and really wants your home to be safe. We will continue to use Bolt Electric in the future and highly recommend him.

Ronnie was great to work with.  He answered all my questions and was an ease to work with.  We scheduled the day and time of repair and he showed up right on time.  Very punctual and professional.  Worked several hours installing our lights and when they came on at night, wow we were amazed how great they looked.  He had recommended these lights and they were well worth it.

If you are looking for a dependable, honest, professional, quality electrician Bolt Electric is the company.

I had already ordered the part from Hunter Fans and had a handyman try to fix it. The handyman was unable to remove the fan from the ceiling in order to repair it. He suggested I contact someone who only worked on ceiling fans. I found Ronnie on Angie's list. The fan was still difficult for him to remove. He found out that was because a part that was holding the fan securely to the ceiling was badly bent. Ronnie was finally able to remove the fan, install the new receiver in the ceiling and reattach it to the ceiling. He inserted two screws into the top base to make it more secure and to make it simpler to remove from the ceiling in the event we ever had to do any repairs down the road. He was very persistent that he wouldn't give up until he got it, and he did! A very nice guy that knew exactly what he was doing! I know he was at my son's home longer than what the $125 service charge was meant to cover. I highly recommend Ronnie!

Ronnie was wonderful. He was on-time, very professional, helpful and nice to my animals! He was very patient with all of my conerns with how my electricity was acting in the house - I thought maybe there was somehting really wrong. He asured me that the things that needed to be fixed were minor.

Ronnie was originally reccomended by a friend to do some work on our house that we had just purchased. The ispection report had a long list of things that needed to be repaired, especially dealing with the electric wiring. We obtained two bids. Ronnnie pointed out the things that we needed to do now to make it safe, and the things that we could wait on, and also things that were not necessary. The other electrician just quoted us a huge price for all the work listed in the inspection report.
Ronnie was also easy to contact by cell to arrange the work, and also texts which is a plus in my book. He came and did the work efficiently, he always asked before he did more that he had planned due to to the nature of the problem. The total for everything for this was about $900.
We liked his work so much we called him back after we replastered the pool and needed the light rewired. We had to call on short notice and he came the next day. He came out and what we thought would be a 30 mintue job turned into a much longer deal, requiring laying new wire from the pool light J box to the switch. After several hours and a lot of new wire to replace what I'm sure was the 1970's original wiring, we had a working pool light! The total cost to us was a little over $200, which was a great bargain given the time and two trips that he made to get the light working. Overall, I highly reccomend Ronnie with Bolt electric, he is always prompt and professional and does great work at a reasonable price. We will definitely be using him again in the future.

Ronnie from Bolt Electric was very professional, prompt, and personable. I was afraid I was going to have to replace the entire ceiling fan unit, but the problem turned out to be the remote receiver in the fan unit. Ronnie had purchased a new remote/receiver unit at Home Depot before he arrived and quot;just in caseand quot;. I was so happy he was able to repair the unit since the fan was a contemporary style that I had special ordered and would be difficult to replace. We have 5 remote controlled ceiling fans in the house and have and quot;just copedand quot; with the fact 2 of the fans worked on the same frequency and interferred with 2 of the other fans. Ronnie was able to change the frequency settings so that all the fans now work independently and don't interfere with one another.
I will definitley keep his card handy and hire him again for any electrical problem.
