 + -1 moreLong stem roses were delivered in a plastic box with water tubes on each stem. I put them in a vase right after receiving them. In 2 days the heads of the roses turned down. In ~ 5 days they died. I called the florist and they told me they would send a small bouquet. He also mentioned the roses were guaranteed. Nothing was ever delivered and the charge remained on our credit card.

 + -1 moreCalled to order a funeral spray from the grandchildren for the Grandmothers funeral on Friday, the visitation being on Sunday afternoon. Was terribly dissappointed to see such a skimpy arrangement as this was not the picture that was represented in their website. It was supposed to be29" W x 55" H and it was not. The size looked to be only half the size of the picture and the flowers looked wilted and droopy. Called to complain and they were apologetic, offered to send a plant out to the family as compensation. No plant was ever sent. Would never recommend this to anyone, website misleading and they do not honor their work.
Description of Work: Went to the website and ordered a "Bright and Beautiful Spray", T249-3A, to be sent from the grandchildren to their grandmother's funeral. Chose this particular one because the picture was very colorful and full of flowers and greenery. Wish I had checked with Angie's List before placing the order.

Description of Work: I called this florist so that I could send a fruit basket for her birthday which was May 6, 2011. I called on May 4, 2011 to allow plenty of time. I ordered the item and they promised to deliver on her birthday but would not give a time. She flew into San Antonio to celebrate her birthday with her husband (whom I tipped off about the birthday gift). They were staying at the Hyatt Hotel. To make a long story short they did not make the delivery. My son-in-law kept my daughter at the hotel waiting for the fruit basket which was never to arrive. I checked my credit card records on Monday, May 9th and sure enough they billed me anyway. I called the florist and they said "yes, they got mixed up and tried to deliver on the 7th of May but my daughter had left the hotel for Austin (duhhhh). I asked why they did not immediately issue a credit for the $ 162.13 when they realized they had not delivered on the date promised. No response to the question. They promised to issue a credit immediately but it has been 4 hours and so far no credit on my credit card. VERY POOR FLORIST !!
