She will even see us on short notice. They interact with the cats well. The lady that runs it is really excellent. She seems to know what she is doing.

I make an appointment. The vet is great at interacting with my pets. They are close, honest and they do a good job. They don't try to do extra things.

quick visit.  When assistant saw that my pet was anxious, she was able to give her the shot while giving her treats while we were in the waiting room.  They have always been great with my sweet dog.

my dog does not enjoy going to vets in general. we are new to area and we needed to get her checkup and shots, etc. She was shaking the moment we went inside. The staff were so wonderful with her and even got on the floor with her to love on her and provide treats to befriend her. Dr. James was so wonderful and compassionate with Brownie and recommended things we should look for with the new climate, etc. By the time we left Brownie was a happy dog. I would certainly recommend anyone to take their pet(s) to Dr. James.

Outstanding. Changed to this vet to care for our 3 house cats about 3 months ago. Very happy with routine service, shots, etc.

In April, we called in the afternoon for a cat who had been getting sicker all day. She was able to get us in right before closing, quickly examined cat and found a bite that was causing an infection. Treated with antibiotic shot and gave follow on care advice. Cat was better within the hour and stayed better. Very clean office, professional, and friendly. Definitely recommend to others and we will continue to come here.

Anne James is our dog's veterinarian and she is terrific! We moved to town about five years ago. I was recommended to a couple of other vets first that I was not happy with. The first vet had tried to sell me things I knew I did not need. The second vet I tried was not responsive and did not listen to our questions or concerns at all. When I first went to see Dr. Anne James, it was great and we just knew she was the perfect vet. Our dog had gotten real sick. He was behaving strangely and we took him in to see her. She was honest, responded immediately, and had said she was not positive what was going on with him but recommended that we take him to another veterinary hospital. She made a phone call and we drove right over to the neurologist where they had the equipment to test him. We discovered that he had a brain tumor. Between Dr. James and the vets at the other hospital, he is now a very happy and healthy puppy dog. The office staff is amazing! They learn who you are and remember your pets name by memory. It is nice to know that they remember. We have a lot of friends who take their pets here as well and they are very happy with them. We have been so pleased with her. We love Dr. James.

They're good. We don't have any complaints. We've been using them since we got back here. As a person, I like her but I don't know if I want to say too much one way or the other professionally. I've had a few qualms from time ti time about some things that were done. We have 4 cats and we have gone there exclusively since 2007.

Went well - as usual. We've been going to Blanco Crossing Veterinary Hospital and Dr James since we moved to San Antonio in 2003 (at a friend's receommendation). Dr James is very compassionate, cares for the animals and provides great advice and options for the pet-owners. We've had to put down two of our dogs for various reasons (old age/congestive heart failure for one and an auto-immune blood disorder for the other). She let us know our options and what she recommended - especially with respect to potential outcomes for different treatment options. We live about 20 minutes away and have other options, but choose to use Blanco Crossing because she's been so great with our dogs.
