a few times I had to call when the work was not happening as they said it would, but at that point they responded well. The workers did not notice (or didn't inform me of) another major problem that was uncovered during their work. And although I realize that that was not their job, it would have helped me with the work I still need to do.

except for a few small spots the result was good. What appeared to be a few small drink spots were missed on the steps close to the edge

Its been a fiasco. This happened in August and I am still dealing with them. I do not recommend them. They were not organized or professional. They did not do anything to my satisfaction. They damaged furniture and tile in my dining area and refused to pay.
Response from Blackmon Mooring
"It is Blackmon Mooring company policy not move MFD or particle board assembled furniture due to the weak joints and poor fastener hold. If a customer insists the furniture be moved, we will only do so after a release of liability to damage is signed. Mr. [Member Name Removed] signed a waiver releasing us from any liability to damage on his particle board furniture. Blackmon Mooring stands behind the quality of work performed and even with a signed release on file, we have already agreed to reimburse Mr. [Member Name Removed] the cost of the desk and for some other small items Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated were broken in the move."

We were not very pleased. They had to come out multiple times. It was a long drawn out process and in the end there was one thing we were not completely satisfied with but we were just tired of the whole process and we just left it the way it was. They had to put in an addendum for the insurance company because the adjuster missed the work in one of the rooms that needed to be done on the original estimate. We had a water pipe leak in the foundation and so the plumbers came out and to find the leak, they had to put holes three four rooms of the house. They were really friendly, that was the good thing. We had 3 different people come and give us estimates and our insurance company recommended Blackmon Mooring and they were the lowest estimate. Our insurance also said they guaranteed their work for 3 years. But then when they came here to do the work, we realized they had missed the bathroom. The whole behind the vanity, the wall had to be torn out o they had to replace the back of the vanity and the entire wall. That wasn't even on the estimate. After the first day, there were two gentlemen, I guess the owner and a person that came with him who always spoke Spanish. He was very nice, he smiled all the time but on the second day, the owner left and left the gentleman who only spoke Spanish. My husband who was working at home had no way of communicating with him so he ended up calling a friend of ours who spoke Spanish to translate for him. when the carpet was ordered, the carpet and the pad was shorted, when they were painting the shelf, they missed the top shelf, then they came back and repainted it but there was something wrong with the paint, it was either contaminated or whatever. On the top shelf there was junk left in the enamel paint so it was really rough so they had to come back and do that one. There was another gentleman who only spoke Spanish and he had what looked like a high school son for his translator so when he finished, he asked if it was okay and it wasn't okay but I didn't know how to tell him what needed to be done. When Blackmon Mooring came back, I showed him the shelf, I showed him the carpet seam and I told him we were not happy. he said he would bring in his best guy to fix it. He did fix the carpet seam, it is good now however when he painted the shelf, he sanded it and when he painted it it, he didn't do it with enamel paint. When they said they would be here, they were usually here within a half hour of that time. We just decided to leave things as they are. The carpet seam got replaced, the shelf we can live with he way it is and I'm good.

I was very pleased with their work.  I believe that the insurance company paid $2500 or $2600.  On price, I think it was pretty good. I very rarely give somebody an A so a B is pretty darn good. I did have to call to have them come back because when  they pulled out the oven to check under it for the water, the plug came out and they did not replace the plug. So that was just one little thing but they came back and they plugged it back in. When they left I had to push the refrigerator back to the wall because it was left out where they put it.  If they had done that, I think I would have given them an A.

the final straw was on 19 June 15, when I found there was another leak discovered in my home. I called them up asking for someone to please come by my home to adjust the temporary tarp (small bit of plastic) because we were due to have alot of rain come in. Initally I was told yes someone would be by. The appointment was set up for 7:00 pm but they did not make it out until past 9:00 pm. The only thing they did was put a humidifer and fan on the wall leak. I was told they "don't adjust tarps" that would require someone else. When I called back on 20 June 15, I was told that I would have to have a roofer perform this. It required an email from my claims adjuster to get them to come out and put one up which they did. Why did it have to go to that? I will never use them again and have let others know the lack of cooperation they have.

Service was provided by Jeremy and Michael.  They called first and arrived at the beginning of the appointment window.  They did the job for the estimate that I received over the telephone earlier.

The company is very professional.  There seems to be little price competition for steam cleaning carpets, so you should go with the most professional ones.

We had like 3 inches of water in three bedrooms,  my office, two bathrooms and closets. They came in with big machines to remove the water.  They then used these big plastic heating pads to dry out the wood.  They were great and did not have any complaints. We did have to replace one floor that was not able to be saved.

They cleaned up water.... Since I had tile floors that was easy.... Then they proceeded to bore large holes in my new cabinets and molding around the room ..... they said it was to help dry out ..... Then they sprayed something to prevent mold.... But they sprayed the wrong chemical.... I was hospitalized .... I am unable to live in my home.... They and their insurance company have done nothing.... I have been homeless for over three years....Everything in my home is contaminated....and my doctors tell me the house should be gutted or torn down

It was easy to schedule an appointment with them, and they were upfront about costs that were outside of the $99 coupon (3 rooms), so I was able to estimate fairly closely what it would be. They were on time, called beforehand, took care of business efficiently and were able to get out some tough stains in our loft/family room area.

.The carpet had many dark spots including some spots that looked like tar. I thought I would need to replace my carpet soon: however, my carpet looks like new. The young men helped me to move the things that needed to be moved because I am 69 years old. Both men were very helpful and polite.

When Blackmon Mooring was still in the AC business, I purchased two new units for my home in 2008. I am now in the process of selling it only to find out that: 1) the units I purchased were already one year old; 2) during installation, the pan underneath the upstairs unit was CUT AWAY because the workmen were too lazy to lift it; 3) the flue pipe was touching wood which is a fire hazard; 4) purchased two exactly same units to find out now that one was a 3.5 ton and the other was a 4 ton. Now I have to pay to have all these items corrected. THEY SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED IT CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME.
I contacted Blackmon Mooring today and was told to call a licensed AC company. They would not give me ANY INFORMATION as to who took over their A/C branch of the company. I'm now filing a complaint with the BBB. It's pretty sad that I spent my hard-earned money to have to pay for someone's laziness and greed. Just goes to show you that even if you pay for something, you have to get a second opinion or somebody is always going to rip you off.

The 2 guys were good about putting furniture on blocks so the carpet would not be stained.
You do need to follow the guy around that is spraying out the cleaner. Several times I told him not to spray up so high as he was putting spray on the various furniture pieces. He'd say yes ma'am, but each time I went to see how the work was moving along he was still spraying to high. For the cleaning of the leather couch and chair the guy did a good sales job. Our leather items badly needed cleaning and remoisturizing. He did both of these very well. Our couch had a large area that had darkened from hair oils. As the guy cleaned he kept saying see it's working. By the time he cleaned the oily area it was difficult to tell if the oils had actually come out some or faded so I had him clean the leather. Once the coach dried the spot from the hair oils was still much darker than the rest of the couch. Also, whille they cleaned and moisturized, they did not sell any of the product they used. This meant I had to go out and find a leather moisturizer.
I'm not planning on hiring them again as I prefer to tell them what needs to be done and the work be done. I do not like to keep checking on someone, the guy spraying the cleaner, I want people to do their job.
I think the price was fair for all of the work we had done.
