They were on time and did a great job. Our door was worn and faded; even had some cracks. It looks great after they sanded and restrained it. I’m interested to see how the marine-grade clear coat holds up after a year too. I think $400 is a lot to pay but that’s what all of them are charging now. And the door definitely looks way better. I am glad we had it done.

The entire process was a pleasant experience. They were able to come by over the weekend allowing me to be home without taking time off of work. They were very friendly and explained the process (and the cause of damage) very thoroughly. Completed the work in a quick timeline but did so with a great level of quality.

Biggins did an outstanding job on a door I thought may need to be replaced as a result of years of sun beaten wear and tear. They made my door look far better than it did the day I purchased my home. GREAT JOB! Looks almost like new! It is over 20 years old and after they were finished it looked like when it was first installed. Front door looks better than new ! Very detailed finishing by getting into the small grooves of the trim around the windows . Followed exactly what he says. I've finished my own furniture so understand the work involved. So Neil is very good

Original builder finish to our front door did not last 3 years so I called Biggins Door Refinishing. They were prompt, professional, stripped door to bare wood, restained with multiple coats of gloss finish. All done in 4-5 hrs. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

Taylor did a great job. He sanded, stained & sealed the door with several coats. Taylor even noticed that the edge of the door (where the hinges are attached) had apparently not been done well by the original installer so he also took care of refinishing and sealing that edge, something that could have gone unnoticed. He was easy to work with, he explained the entire process and he was polite & professional. I will definitely use Biggin's again. They also offer a very affordable maintenance program (every 12-18 months) which I intend to use. Our doors take a beating in the hot Texas sun but you would never know it after Taylor was finished!
