"It’s unfortunate that the most vocal customers are usually the most disingenuous online. Mrs [Member Name Removed] rescheduled with me for at least 3-4 months before finally booking with us. I was extremely flexible and understanding considering all the back and forth she was doing. When I finally get to her apartment she failed to mention a garage full of boxes that was not included in the initial quote and I had to obviously include in the final price which I informed her immediately. She was present the whole time when we disassembled her furniture and wrapped EVERY SINGLE PIECE. Her TV’s were boxed AND padded and handled with special treatment the entire time. When we finally were headed out to El Paso she added that she will not be there and that her brother would receive her belongings. We unloaded the tv ‘s before anything else and they say on a counter the entire time. I (owner) mounted them personally and plugged them in to make sure they were properly functioning. It is my most important policy that I do every time I transport a tv. After the move was finished I made sure to tell her brother to double check every single piece before I left. There were no issues that he brought to my attention. Over a month later Mrs [Member Name Removed] contacted me about the broken tv and I immediately knew she was not being honest. Knowing she was being dishonest I still tried to come to a fair agreement. She was sent a check for $300 and refused it because it wasn’t the full amount. She also contacted the BBB accusing us of threatening her which was also completely fabricated. We sent all the proper screenshots to the BBB and they immediately closed the case after discovering her dishonesty. When they closed it and she was still unsatisfied she then came to Angie’s list to continue her made up story. I advise anyone who would like to know the truth to please go to the BBB and see the images for yourself. We treated Mrs [Member Name Removed] with complete respect and never said a single inappropriate word. We wish nothing but good fortune to ms [Member Name Removed] in the future."
"So first off it’s extremely difficult to be prepared for a move when a customer is being completely dishonest about their belongings. Miss [Member Name Removed] told me she had a 2 bedroom apartment and 1 of her rooms was just a guest room that wasn’t used. Part of the deal was that she was going to purchase her own boxes since she had a better idea of what belongings she had. I didn’t go to look at her apartment in person because it was 45min away, instead I asked her for pictures of everything. She sent me 5 extremely deceiving pictures, a picture of her bed which had nothing on it, a pic of the second room standing at the door where you couldn’t see the mountain of belongings on the opposite side, one of the kitchen which showed none of the contents of the cabinets, and one of the living room which seemed normal. When I asked for more pictures I didn’t get them. A normal 2 bedroom apartment is never a different task for my team and wouldn’t have been on this occasion if there had been honesty from the beginning. I estimated a total of 12-13 hours this move should’ve taken us. We SPENT 8 hours alone packing. She bought approximately 10 boxes knowing it would not be nearly enough. I personally went to Home Depot and purchased 30 24 gallon totes and spent over $300. I was told I’d be reimbursed for. The black bags That are pictured are her clothes! Approximately 45 construction grade trash bags filled with just clothes! We take great care of customers belongings. When we arrived to Richardson we were told it would be a town house some things going upstairs. We get there and she wanted ALL the belongings upstairs because it was only an upstairs that she once again failed to mention. We finished unloading the trailer at 2am. So we worked from 7am to 2am when it was only supposed to be a 12hr job. Including the drive we didn’t arrive home till 5am. A 22 hour day. We had no intentions on staying the night last minute. Miss [Member Name Removed] did not want to pay for a 2nd truck and that is the real reason that her belongings did not fit. Any normal 2 bedroom apartment would fit in my truck with absolute ease. Miss [Member Name Removed] was cussing and making inappropriate racial comments around my black employees and sexual comments with her friend ALL day. I didn’t say a word. So I find it difficult that she is sick to her stomach about anything. At the end of the day, the job was supposed to be 2800. I was given 2300. My team was so exhausted and frustrated we decided to cut our losses and go home. We were nothing but polite and understanding with miss [Member Name Removed] throughout the entire move. So for her to leave us a negative review filled with dishonesties is beyond disheartening. Me and my team break our backs for every single one of our customers and go above and beyond. If you have a 1 bedroom apt or a 15 room mansion, we treat everyone with respect and kindness. I understand you can’t please everyone but we try our absolute best every single time. We wish nothing but good fortune to miss [Member Name Removed] in the future, but honesty goes a long way."
