We talked about numerous options from rye grass to habiturf to ground cover. It was important to me that we find a solution that requires little to no watering.
Because my yard is so large, I decided to install ground cover between the street and my treeline - about 10 ft x 200 ft. Jason suggested a stone and pecan shell solution. I selected Hickory river rock, discussed the process and gave Jason the green light.
Jason and his crew spent the next two days trenching, trimming trees, setting stones and setting the pecan shells.
The results are outstanding as you can see the difference below in the before and after pictures.
