Best Choice replaced our roof November 2017. Last October we discovered a leak, and called to get it repaired under warranty. The leak required the replacement of a piece of decking. The "Project Manager" (PM) had to come out and verify the severity of the problem before approving the repair. After nearly a month of phone tag, he came on or around November 27, and went into my attic. His legs fell through my garage ceiling, knocking out a sizable hole; sheetrock feel onto the hood and fenders of my car, causing dents and deep scratches. After four month of texts, the PM told me that my car would be covered, and advised me to get a repair estimate. On March 14, I got an estimate of $1139.89. Now seven months later, I cannot guarantee that this estimate is still valid, and nothing has been done. We spent the ensuing months texting back and forth, with nothing resolved. On June 3, the PM texted that he needed to find out whether the check will come to me or to the body shop. I attempted to follow up throughout July; in August he replied that he is no longer with Best Choice. Now, eleven months later, I still need my car fixed. I cannot recommend this company at this time.

Sales guys were great (they have since quit because of companies shady business practices). First i was told i would have to pay my roof in full to be allowed to make payments on mothers roof because almost no money came from her insurance. So i paid out my roof. Marco one of the managers changed the cost of my roof 3 times so offered a $500 discount on mothers which was not honored. The work was subcontracted out to Fiesta Roofing. I has asked to have ALL the decking replaced. Then production manager, Greg, said only 6 sheets need to be replaced where roof cracked. So i spoke to lead roofer who said no, he had told Greg ALL the decking needed to be replaced. Of course Gregs excuse was they wouldnt know how much decking would be needed until they figured out how much would need replacing. What part of ALL needs to be figured out? They had aerial specs to the whole roof! Then surprise cost went up under the assumption insurance was paying. At start i was told that whatever was there when they started would be put back. Well that didnt happen either. Suddenly facia was not included when it was quoted in the price and drip edge was not put back on. Now im being told by Kendal, MY roof which is 100% paid will not be scheduled until a financial agreement for mothers roof is signed. Ive been the one initiating communications and now Terri AR manager is saying this needs to get done because the roof was completed almost a month ago. Excuse me, drip edge is part of the roofing process so NO it has yet to be completed! These people lie, cheat, have no integrity. I have started only accepting emails or text as proof because they lie so much. DO NOT recommend them to anyone!

As far as the work they did a great job.  As far as customer service I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.  They're customer service is terrible.  I got a call that they had me on the calendar and they were trying to work me in.  So I said okay no problem.  Then I get another call saying he did you know you were on the list we will be there to put your roof on the next day.  After that they came out they put the roof on in the estimate it said ridge vents all the way across.  They had to go back and pull the paperwork and they seen that.  Then after that I get a check in the mail from the insurance company about needing additional equipment and I didn't even know what it was for so I called the insurance company and asked them what it this for and they said Best Choice had submitted a claim stating that San Antonio had passed this law where you had to have a, they said a replacement of gutters, the metal flashing around your house. I said okay.  Understood that, but now when they came out and did my estimate, right now the hail damage chipped my paint, and I  said did you all send a supplement claim in for that?, well they didn't.  So I had to find someone to do a claim for me to send that in and then before the roof was put on we had a bad rain storm here so I had to be repaired.  So they didn't submit the claim so I had to submit the claim myself.
