Ben arrived ahead of scheduled appointment time. He did an amazing job and was courteous, professional and his prices were reasonably and honestly priced. He thoroughly explained what the process entailed and gave all prices up front with no hidden expenses. I have used several other plumbing companies in the past and none compare to the professionalism, the attention to detail, quality of work and the fair prices that Ben offers. He is my new go to guy for all my future plumbing needs

Found what the problem was it was my thermostat another company could not find the problem. Have not had any problem since he fixed it

I was very pleased with service. Ben arrived 30 minutes early. He put covers on his shoes before entering the house and brought in a mat to avoid dirtying my floors. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, including cost, before beginning repairs. The bill would have been less but I chose to do some preventive maintenance by replacing some
other parts.

Ben came by on a moment’s notice. His work is not only thorough and high quality; he is very meticulous about what he installs or repairs and takes great pride in his work. He was able to fix two problems, both behind walls, with minimal evasion. He is very knowledgeable not only about plumbing but heating and air as well. He keeps you informed of every step of the process, not only about what he is doing, but why he is doing it. He cuts no corners. I highly recommend Ben and will use him exclusively on future repairs.

Ben has been there throughout all of our A/C emergencies!!!! His responsiveness (even on the weekend) is second to none. He is very knowledgeable in HVAC systems and Plumbing. He performs our routine HVAC system maintenance twice per year. He has also fixed our air conditioning system within hours when the temperature was well above 100 degrees!

Ben has also replaced a hot water heater in our attic the same day it went out. He is very personable and polite, provides quick estimates and great service! Prices are exceptional. I highly recommend Ben's Plumbing.

On Sunday, while loading our car for the return trip from the beach, our next door neighbor calls to inform me that there is water bubbling up out of our water meter box. He has a tool to shut off the city meter and offers to do this. By the time we arrive the water has receded so I turn the meter back on and see that water is spraying in at the forward edge of the box, which is on my side of the meter.
Unfortunately, its now 7:00pm so its too late to get it fixed, so, I spent an hour doing a little research on Angie's List and the BBB. I decided that Ben's Plumbing and Heating looked like a good bet - it struck me that some of the bigger companies pricing seemed HIGH.
I called them at 7:30am on Monday and they said they would be there between 10:00 - 12:00. Ben showed up at 9:55 and I turned on meter to show him the issue. He discussed what he would have to do and the costs. In reference to costs, he initially thought that this leak was probably at the connection to a pressure reducer, since that is where many of them are installed, so he warned me that's what we might find and that they were expensive. He went over this additional cost BEFORE the fact, not after. Luckily, there wasn't a reducer installed but the price he quoted was more than $100 LESS than what some of the larger companies are quoting!
My experience with Ben's Plumbing was very positive. It's a really a nice surprise when you encounter a contractor who shows up when he says he's going to, is prepared and professional and reasonably priced! I HIGHLY recommend Ben's Plumbing and Heating for service and price.

My outside ac unit would not come on, called Ben, and came out within an hour. He ran some diagnostics and found that a contact switch had burned out. Replaced it for $189 and got our air back on. I scheduled to have him come back out and service the unit and recharge the freon in a couple of weeks. My impression of Ben, is that he was very honest and knowledgeable, and because he is the sole proprietor he has a lot of discretion when it comes to price. I will definitely be using him for any future plumbing and ac repairs.
