I live very close to the West Ave. location, so if I recall I stopped in once or twice to discuss the problem and show them the broken door. The gentleman I spoke with was Don Salminen. He determined that the part could not be fixed but he could order a replacement. He needed me to call him with the model number of my vacuum cleaner because, if I recall, the part number had changed and he needed to find the equivalent. He said if I could call by 2:00 pm that day, he would be speaking with a supplier I think it was, and could get my order out that day and it would be ready in a couple of days. I wasn't able to call until the next day, and it took a day or two longer than I expected. The only glitch along the way was that he lost my phone number, but luckily I called him when I thought it should be ready. As this happened nearly two months ago, and only involved a couple of short encounters with them, I am now hazy on some details, but have wanted to write a review as I was very happy with their service. I believe I have also had a repair done by them in the past. Mr. Salminen seemed to be very friendly and professional. I felt the price I paid was fair for not having to take my vacuum cleaner into the store or worse yet, buy a new one. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.
