When I went to check my email late yesterday afternoon, but the screen was black, the power light was off, and would not come on when I tried it. Checked all I could to see if I could find something obvious, but everything looked OK. Called Dell to see what they could do; they determined the power source device in the computer had failed. My warranty with them has expired, so this morning I called
ASAP Computer Services off Blanco Rd for help. Courtney Pelzel responded immediately, knew just from conversation on the phone what was wrong, then gave me a quote for the replacement part. He came out this afternoon, and replaced the part in a matter of minutes. Very knowledgeable and professional in his handling of this situation. I am really glad it worked out to get the computer repaired by ASAP, as I would've had to wait much longer for a part from Dell to arrive. Will use this company again, and would recommend them to anyone needing computer repair.

I found this company to be very professional and committed to providing excellent customer service. When I first called ASAP Computer Service, I talked with a very friendly tech who understood what I was describing and explained the repair process in a way I could understand. Cory was the tech that actually did the repairs. He fixed every problem I had, and gave me advice about keeping my computer from having this problem again. I could not have asked for a better outcome. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly he was able to get my computer back to me and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

When the technician came to replace the motherboard, he was in a big hurry, so he took the old one out and put the new one in and didn t explain anything to me. He didn t load the software and I didn t know how to do it. He was here and gone in fifteen minutes. I thought he was terrible to me and didn t give me any instructions. The computer was under warranty, but I had to pay someone to come out and load the software for me. I will never have another dell because they did a bad job and they won t try to help you out

"Unfortunately we were hired as a subcontractor by D#LL to do this job in the scope which this customer complained about. We we had specific instructions to provide parts replacement only going beyond that would breech our service contract and we can not do that. I hate to be blamed for doing what we were told by the manufacturer but they are very clear on terms in our service contract and we are not permitted to "fish" for extra work nor take any that is offered."
