Description of Work: Remodeled our kitchen. Replace tile floors with wood floors in kitchen, front hallways, 1 bedroom, 1 small living room. Remodeled closet to be a work station with barn doors to close off.

Description of Work: This was just one of many fine job Kurt has done for us, and they range from small to very extensive. He did an outdoor enclosure for us that was a beautiful as if it were a room addition - I love his work and have used and recommended him for 25 years.

 + -1 moreEveryone loves the results of his work. We had a plain deck on this job that was rotting. He not only replace the boards, but separated the deck area into outdoor "rooms" by creating stucco walls that also function as storage areas. He built a raised platform that works as a seating area, and also redesigned some steep stairs to be more usable (and safer) platforms for seating and plants. He created this great space for about $6000 and his communication with us during the process has been excellent.
Description of Work: Kurt is doing his fourth job at our house. We keep calling him back because of the excellence of his work. This time, he is rebuilding our deck and creating a stucco pond area with an outdoor storage banquette and tiled ledge. He has wonderful ideas, such as glazing the stucco with a Tuscan-like coating to add an aged patina. His estimates are extremely reasonable and he comes in within budget. He has also built a pantry and laundry room addition onto our kitchen and done a major bathroom remodeling - I cannot speak highly enough of him. I can furnish photos of his work as a reference if anyone is interested. Kurt has that rare combination of excellent craftsmanship and artistic vision. I have recommended him to friends who also love his work. He has references and many happy clients.
