Valerie was recommended to me when I had Cindy of Blinded by Delight do several blinds for me. I mentioned that I was going to repaint the niche and that I was also going to replace the drapes that were hanging near it. Cindy told me about Valerie and sent me a photo of work Valerie had recently done for her and suggested that I might like the drapes better with another color in the niche. I contacted Valerie and she sent me photos of several finishes she had done and came out several days later and we discussed finishes. She sent me a proposal, and I accepted it. She was involved in a large project at the time, and I had a minor surgery scheduled, so she did the work for me after she finished about 4 weeks later. The wall looks gorgeous! She did a faux finish in deep red with gold. It is beautiful, and I do like the drapes better! In addition to being a very talented painter (she has a website showing lots of her work), Valerie is a delightful person to be around with a wonderful personality. Henry, her assistant, is also very nice. I love the result of her work and enjoyed having them both working in my home. I usually am glad when people are finished and gone, but not Valerie!
