Edgar arrived promptly evaluated the pump. It turns out the the pump was now leaking in about 3 locations with a great deal of corrosion on the pump body. Although he could have repaired the pump by replacing the portion which was leaking, the amount of corrosion was so involved, the pump would probably need to be replaced within a year.
Edgar researched smaller pumps sizes for us as we felt that the 1 hp pump was overkill for the fountain. He presented us with the pricing on two smaller pumps. We selected the pump size and he was able to come out and replace the pump the next day.
All of the cuts on the pvc were cut straight; the pump was lined up perfectly; he took all trash away and cleaned up the worksite.
We are very pleased with Edgar's work and will use him again should the need arise.
