I fired this company not for the job they did (the work was adequate on most visits) but for the prescription pills that went missing after their cleanings on two separate occasions. I cannot prove they took the pills, but there are no other explanations (nobody else was in my house that could explain them going missing). They cleaned my house for about 8 months when I finally discovered the 1st set of pills missing. Then I had a guest in my home visiting and his prescriptions went missing after they cleaned while he was here. I reported this to the company and they questioned the ladies that had recently cleaned my home but of course they had no knowledge of the missing pills. I have since hired a more reputable company to clean my home. I would not trust this company to clean unsupervised.

"Our Guarantee- If you are not satisfied with any part of our service, please notify us within 48 hours and we will promptly re-clean whatever is in question at no additional cost to you"
 Here is what they did not do:
 The team of three ladies spent about three hours on what they called their deep clean. They failed to provide three quarters of the items on their standard white glove service.  They only used furniture polish the dining room table, all others they used a swifter.  Nothing on the kitchen counters were wiped down including stainless steel canisters,   Did not vacuum fabric chairs and sofa's as advertised
We called the same day of the service, and again the next two days without a response.  Finally on the fourth day we were able to speak to someone, and they stated that they would not be coming back as we could never be satisfied.  When asked about their written guarantee they said they had cashed our check and then promptly hung up on my wife.

They're so cooperative if I have to change my schedule and they make sure to call you before they come. They're very reliable and have good customer service. I think the price is reasonable and they really do what they say they're going to do.

I have used this company for about 7 years.  I used them in the past for a home that I was selling and they kept it spotless.  My current home that they clean is fairly large.  I do some basic cleaning and keep it neat and tidy.  They scrub my floors on their hands and knees from one end to the other.  They do it consistently.  Using them just makes sense for us.  I have meetings at my home three times a week so my house has to be clean.  I pay them about $160 per visit for services.  If they make a mistake they are always right on top of it and will make a change within 24 hours.  They never leave a customer dissatisfied.  They have done what ever they need to do to get it right for me.  They pay attention to detail and that keeps them going. 

Don't trust them!  Don't trust them!  Virginia, Sr. housekeeper and Marcela, lead housekeeper pilferized my home  and stole about $1000 worth of my possessions over several visits. Because, I was trusting them, it took a few month for me to connect the dots and realize that they were actually stealing my things. I witnessed Marcela carrying a large black trash bag outs and pretending it was the garbage. They steal out of season items, thing you don't use often and parts of a larger collection, thinking you won't notice for a while. They  even stoled items from rooms the were not even suppose to go into to clean. If you had housekeepers in your home and you start realizing things are misplaced or missing. Just aware!

Two ladies came out and they did a great job and they were very fast. My house was very dusty and they did a very good job of dusting. They also wiped all the plants. The price was a bit high because I called them to clean only once but they charge less if I use them for multiple times. .

Initially, the experience was good, but after 3 months, they scratched the insides of my 3 brand-new toilets as well as scratched my bathtub and bathtub fixtures. They agreed to repair the bathtub and fixtures, but refused to repair the toilets which were only 2 months old. The people they hired to replace the bathtub fixtures caused a leak in the pipe which then ran down to the ceiling of my first floor. American Housekeeping and the company they hired both refused to fix the leak they caused. I would never recommend American Housekeeping to anyone, because they did not stand by their word and repair/pay for any damages their employees cause to your property.

The first month, they did an excellent job! The next month, it was good, but a few missing areas. They have agreed to do those on the next appt. I love that they give you a lock box for the keys and never have your keys away from your house.

If you have them come out on a regular basis, they charge less, but we just had them come out and clean our entire home once. They are really good. The three women came in here and cleaned everything in just a couple of hours. It sparkled, and smelled great and I was very pleased with everything.

I had three service dates with this company after a very bad experience with a previous company. Like the previous company, this one was not doing what was on their own literature. They tried to clean my 2500 sq ft house in 1 and 1/2 hours. It can't be done! I wrote a letter stating my complaints and canceling the upcoming cleaning date until the issues were resolved. TWO WEEKS later I received a call with assurances that the problems had been addressed. I scheduled for my next cleaning date and they didn't show up! When I called the company they said I wasn't on the schedule, that someone had messed up and not put me on. I canceled the service immediately.

American Housekeeping is the most professional competent housecleaning company I have found in the san antonio area in 20 years. They have been cleaning my house for a year now and they do a better job than anyone I have tried for less money. The employees are all bonded and you know you won't be stolen blind like with some fly by night outfits. They are professionals and even wear military-like uniforms. I give them my highest recommendation.

The customer service representative was very friendly, but the house cleaning was mediocre. I was impressed that when I expressed my concern over the quality of their work, they came back out and cleaned again for free. I found the second cleaning to be somewhat mediocre as well. The quality is not necessarily bad, just not what I was looking to get for that much money.

HORRIBLE, THE FEE FOR THE 1ST TIME SERVICE WAS $150.00 WHICH I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY SINCE I WAS SO DISSATISFIED WITH THE RELIABILITY AND SERVICE. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP FOR THE FIRST APPOINTMENT (WHICH I HAD TAKEN OFF WORK FOR). THEN THEY WERE LATE TO THE RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT (WHICH I HAD TAKEN OFF WORK FOR AGAIN). THEY DID AN ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE JOB CLEANING. MY MASTER SHOWER LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED AS WELL AS THE SEPARATE BATHTUB. MY 11 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CAN CLEAN BETTER THAN THE GROUP OF THREE THAT CAME TO MY HOME.
