My Samsung TV has been power cycling and it was really bad Memorial Day. I called Alamo TV this morning as they are an authorized Samsung repair provider. They called me back within 30 minutes and said they had an opening for this afternoon. Paul came (called 30 minutes before arriving) and diagnosed the problem within seconds. He had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Paul was pleasant, professional, and explained the problem. I will absolutely use Alamo TV the next time I have a need. Excellent service.

Initially TV repaired. TV broke down again one month later. Technician disassembles TV and takes part for repair. Comes back thee weeks later. TV works for 3 minutes. Technician says it must be something else. Suggest it must be picture tube. Never returns. dispite phone calls.

My TV decided to stop working last week. With it being close to 10 years old, we basically wrote it off as a loss, although it had a great picture (when it was working). I've had such great experience with other service providers I found on Angies List, so I decided to have Daniel come and take a look, especially since his service call was very reasonable ($65 to come to my home...it's a very large 50" projection TV and next to impossible to load up to bring to a shop) and would apply it to the cost of a repair. He took all the details (model number) before he came out so he would have the parts. He arrived promptly at our scheduled time and found the problem within 15 minutes. He then gave me an estimate, I agreed it was worth fixing, and repaired it on the spot. Very nice man that I felt comfortable having in my home. Highly recommend!

Very professionally all along the line. In this world of "when it breaks, just throw it out" there are still people around who can actually fix things.

We had moved the TV from one location to another. At the new location for whatever reason the TV was not working properly. The picture was squiggly and the objects were 3 dimensional. I first e-mailed Daniel and when I did not get a response I called the next day and left a message. Daniel returned my call within 30 minutes and stated that he had not received the e-mail. I explained to him what was going on with the TV and he gave me two (2) estimates of what the problem could be. He also quoted a service charge of $65.00 and stated that would come off the repair if we had it fixed. We set up an appointment for Monday 10/27/08 between 9:30 and 10:00 due to the traffic at that time. At 9:14 Daniel called stating that he was on his way. Daniel was prompt, pleasant, courteous and professional. Daniel stated that it would take about 30 minutes to look at the TV and find what the problem was. After locating the problem he stated what it was and the cost. Danile took about 1 1/2 hours to fix the problem. Daniel cleaned up the area and put the TV back in its place. I asked Daniel if he would try to program the remote (which is generic not the one that belongs to the TV). He tried but was unable to do so. Not his fault I had no instructions for the generic remote. I would definitely call Daniel again. This is a family owned business (20 years).

I called them and he returned the call 45 minutes later. He came out that PM and checked the TV. Gave me an estimate and went for the parts to repair the TV. He spent extra time cleaning the TV internally and when he finished working on the TV he presented me with the parts that were replaced. The TV was working perfectly and continues to do so today.

Daniel called before he came. He was prompt and cheerful. He diagnosed the problem which he suggested was the problem over the phone. He cleaned and repaired it quickly on the spot. The total was $96.23.

Great communication. They cleaned the tv to where it looked like brand new. They were very polite and funny. Not every service person smiles as easily as they did.
