They are great.  They are the best.

They are very dependable and nice. We have traded with them for years and nothing is too tough for them. They are very honest. They did a good job.

The car stopped running. my Mom was able to coast to a stop in the driveway of Incarnate Word HS on Hildebrand. I took them the keys the next morning and told them where to find the car. They picked it up, towed it to their garage, diagnosed the problem, called me with an estimate, and repaired it all in the same day. I was not able to get the car until the next day, because I could not leave work to pick it up. They did offer to stay late but I declined.
The initial estimate was $625.00. They said they had to fix the radiator hose in order to get the car running. After they got it running they could then see if there were any other problems. Fortunately the hose was the only problem. They could have said anything was wrong up to the engine was a total write off and it had to be replaced.
I trust them totally. I have been doing business with them for thirty years and will continue. I just wish they worked on Alpha Romeo.

The a/c was intermittently blowing hot air. After looking at it they called and told me the fan wasn't working. I don't know anything about cars so I'll tell you what they wrote on my repair order. They inspected and tested the a/c condenser fan motor circuit; removed and replaced the a/c condenser fan motor assembly; retested all and road test. Parts were $158.62 and labor was $196.50. I found this part on the Internet for $149 at Auto Zone. An Internet labor guide estimated 1.4 hours at $78/hr for a total of $109.20. I wouldn't know if this info is correct but this is the reason I rated price with B. They were able to schedule me quickly which is a good thing if you live in Texas and don't have an a/c. I think I called them on Wednesday and they were able to schedule me for Monday. They aren't open on the weekends and I think they were closed for Independence Day. I was given a ride to and from work so I didn't need a rental. I met one of the owners and an employee and both were friendly. The employee informed me of several other problems found. I only knew of one leak and I thought it had previously been fixed so this was appreciated. I chose them because they get good reviews. So far my a/c has been working and, it could just be me, I think it is cooling better. I will go back to Alamo Heights Garage to get the rest of the work done. I'm happy with this experience.

I showed up without an appointment on a Saturday to see if they would be able to rotate/balance my tires. This was no problem for them and although they had a relatively busy morning, they were able to complete the task in about 30 minutes. They had a good attitude and provided quality work.

Alamo Heights is the ideal garage if you want your car maintained to the heights level. They are aware of and conform to all manufacture's maintenance recommendations. If you have a new car and want to drive it for 200,000 miles they are the place to go.
If however if that isn't your goal and you want your car maintained to a reasonable, common sense standard, find someplace else.

Our family has been doing business with this provider for some 40 years. We have always used them to service our domestic built cars, mainly from General Motors. They have always been outstanding in every category. They have recently moved from their Alamo Heights location to one outside the Loop 410 on the west side of Broadway and have broadened their service categories to all car brands. They have taken superb care of a nearly 30 year old Oldsmobile and could not imagine anyone else doing such a good job on this classic car. They have always been prompt, professional and true to their word. They recently exchanged a battery without hassle or question when the battery failed. A small example of their attitude.

We have used them forever. They are courteous. They are knowledgeable. They have always been very responsive telling just what the estimates are and whether or not we will proceed with work and things like that. We have taken all of our general motors cars there for ages and ages.

ALAMO HEIGHTS GARAGE FRONT OFFICE STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A PROMPT AND TIMELY MANNER. THE WORK ITSELF WAS DONE ADEQUATELY, AND FUTURE ITEMS OF WORK WERE NOTED CLEARLY.
