When she first came out she gave is a high standard to judge our past maids. So we expected an awesome job. The we have tried her service 3 times. She did send another maid, however she always has a snarky response when advising the job was not up to par. This final cleaning the maid used our vacuum on the wood floors and our stamped concrete instead of sweeping. She didn't even take the trash out. When we asked the person in charge to come see for herself she responded with the following response. " sorry...you need to understand we clean homes we don't pick up toys... We go into a house that is ready to be cleaned." I spend my morning making sure I pick up the toys and belongings and making sure the house is in cleaning condition. I guess I was just taught to clean differently. Items were cleaned around instead of moved in countertops and cabinets were left dirty.

They did the first deep cleaning three weeks ago and then the first regular cleaning a week ago. They had six people here and they worked their butts off for eight hours. The initial deep cleaning was $378 and the bi-weekly cleaning is $149. They are very professional and did a really good job. My initial call to them was on Wednesday and they came out on Friday to discuss things. They are a really good cleaning crew and worth the money. They will be back next week.

My friend died suddenly and unexpected so I wasn't up to cleaning up after myself and my housecleaner was not due for a few days. My life felt so out of control with clutter everywhere. I called Maria and asked her if Sandra could come a few days sooner than normal. She showed up the next day and did an exceptionally good job for me. Everyone copes with life differently. In the past I have used what my friends and I call "retail therapy" (shopping) but I have found that there is nothing more effective at relaxing my mind and emotions than having a clean and orderly home. Although Sandra doesn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish, I am becoming increasingly satisfied with the services of this company. The owner, Maria, is translating my expectations to Sandra who obviously wants to please and is falling into a cleaning routine that is working for me. When I call Maria she calls me back almost immediately and together with Sandra they do whatever it takes to assure that I am happy with the work they do for me. Thank you.

I wrote a review yesterday that was less than great because I was having some problems with the language barrier and the house was not being cleaned as thoroughly as I would like.  When I talked to the owner I wasn't sure she understood my dissatisfaction so I did not know if my problem was going to get resolved.  I gave the cleaner another chance because she really is sweet and I think she wants to do a good job but perhaps did not understand my expectations.  She came today and spent almost three hours instead of her normal 2 to 2.5 hrs.  I choose not to have her clean the office and art studio other than to sweep and mop them because I have many projects I am working on and do not want them disturbed.   I was pleased with her effort and results today so I am giving an A review and a little tip to Sandra for a job well done. Also, there was a "F" review that someone else posted earlier that should be removed.  There are two cleaning companies with similar names.  It is very likely that the person who did the review did not carefully check to be sure she got the right company.  I almost reviewed the wrong one because it comes up first.  If I had not read the reviews for this company and Maria's response I would not have known about the other company.  Angie's List really needs to do something about that if possible.  It just isn't fair to Maria.  The fewer reviews she has the more that erroneous "F" is going to affect the way people look at her.  Even though I had some issues that concerned me I have to say that I still felt they were worth the effort to get them to understand my expectations.  I will continue to  use them as long as they perform the way she did today.

They have been cleaning my house for a couple of months now and we are having some problems.  I am trying to work it out with the owner.  She does not seem to understand why I am unsatisfied because the trash was not emptied, the floor had dirty spots on it, mold on the bathtub, dishes in the sink, sofa cushions over turned and in wacky positions, has never vacuumed under the sofa cushions..only partially dusted, etc.  She offered to assign an english speaking cleaner but if the owner doesn't understand how I feel it won't matter whether my cleaning lady speaks english or not.  I pay them $70 for 1 person to clean 1200 sq ft.  The cleaner usually spends 2 hours and max 2.5 hours which the owner says it the standard amount of time spent.  That comes to $28 to $35 per hour.  I think that is too much per hour for a soft half way clean.  Owner says no one else complains about this particular worker. I am trying to be reasonable so I have scheduled her for one more clean.  We will see  how it goes.

Not well at all. Someone was supposed to be here at 9:00 a.m. Only when I called at 9:20 was I told Anna was running late. She showed up at 11:30. I wish I could post pictures to explain my frustration. None of the floors were ever wet from mopping and they look as though they have been hastily wiped with a damp cloth. Mirrors were very streaked and filmy. The kitchen counters have pieces of food still stuck to them and there are obvious crumbs covering the island. Trash cans were filled to overflow and not emptied. She "cleaned" 5 stories, 7 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 5 hours. That's $32/hr. and for a terrible job done. I cannot believe that was what I was charged for such a terrible job. I am running a bed and breakfast, I cannot have any guests check in based upon the job that they did and it certainly saved me no trouble.

First off, let me point out...there are several "Alamo Cleaning" companies in town. I had read the rave reviews for "Alamo House CLeaning" and thought that was the company I had called, so I had high expectations. Turns out, I called the wrong Alamo Cleaning. 
    I booked with Maria, and told her that I had special concerns about the floors, that I had dogs and please do not send anyone who dislikes dogs or are allergic.
    The appointment was booked for 9 AM. At 8:45, Maria called to say the cleaner would be late because of bad traffic and would arrive at 9 or 9:30. She arrived at 10, could not speak english,  refused to come into the house until I locked the dogs out. We called Maria and Maria stated that I had not specified an English speaking cleaner. She stated she had told the cleaner my concern for the floors, and even though the cleaner liked dogs, I must lock mine outdoors while she was there. Maria stated the cleaner knew what to do and that I did not need to speak with her at all, so it should be no problem if she did not speak english. I did not like that, but by this time, I had already waited an hour for her, so I locked the dogs out and let her start. 
    The cleaner started by applying a most toxic smelling substance to the tile and tub of my guest bath (which was clean because we never use it, and really just needed a dusting.) That substance stayed on for at least 2 hours, and the smell permeated the entire house.    She was here for 3 hours, and spent 2 of them in the master bedroom with the door closed. Once, when I went into the bedroom to get something, she closed the door again behind me. That made me very uncomfortable.    She spent 1 hour sweeping and washing all the floors, cleaning in kitchen, dusting the den and living room, emptied some of the trash containers. Did not clean microwave, but did wipe down one of the kitchen counters and the kitchen table   
  After she left, I opened all the windows and left for 2 hours. When I returned, I still could smell the toxic substance she used on that clean tub.
    I will not call them again because of the lateness, and the toxic chemicals my house smelled like when she left.
