He had said it would take a couple of days, and it took a little longer.  he stuck to the budget except it cost  little more because I had to add in the ramp.  The pad ended up being much higher than he had originally indicated.  I should have insisted on drawings with ALL the dimensions rather than just talking with the contractors and writing up general dimensions (i.e. 10x12) of the pad.   My biggest complaint is that I asked for all the excess dirt and rocks to be picked up off my lawn and they weren't.  I asked again and was told they would be before the workers left (it was very VERY late at night and they were finishing up) but they didn't.  I have invested a lot of time and money in my lawn and do NOT appreciate all the debris that was left to kill my grass.  I am disabled and not able to pick it up myself so this is particularly difficult.
