They did an excellent job, however; I sold my house and moved to a mobile home park that has it's own yard service, so I no longer need this company, but if I did I certainly would get them a call.  For the 9 or 10 years I used them as my lawn service when I owned my house, they did an excellent job.  And their prices were very fair.

Several neighbors used and recommended ALS to us. Andy, the owner, is primarily in the lawn care and tree service, but installs fences Nov through Feb. I was willing to wait 2 months for him. I had an estimate from him 2 years earlier for the same job and the one he gave this time was essentially the same. He and his crew arrived on the appointed day and removed the old fence. Over the next 3 days they dug and cemented fence posts, hung the rails, installed three gates, and attached the pickets. All work was done in a professional manner. They used quality materials including plastic caps for the fence posts, and ring shank nails. Andy worked extra hard the remove two posts that abutted a flagstone walkway. They successfully removed the posts without cracking the walkway and replaced at no charge a sprinkler head that needed to be moved in order to get the original post out. They cleaned up each day before leaving and at the end of the job. The price was very competitive and the workmanship excellent. I'd use him again in 15 years when/if the fence needs to be replaced!

Updated: Sep/2011  While reviewing the fence work I  failed to notice a problem with one of the electrical boxes attached to the original fence.  Because the fence line was moved a few inches the buried conduit no longer allowed the outlet to be reattached to the new fence.  ALS did not respond to my calls for repair so I ultimately called an electrician to do the work.  ALS did not offer to pay any portion of the electrician's bill.  Needless to say this has left me with a poor impression of ALS.

Our yard always looks fantastic now. We have one of two different workers who do the work, so we know them both reasonably well. This helps if we need something extra done, because they know us personally. We have never had any complaints about our requests, and the workers are well-mannered, as well as hard workers. We are billed twice a month at our request, and price is competitive with other lawn care companies.
