They determined the cause was low refrigerant. They only charged me regular pricing for a service call and the refrigerant that was used. Didn't charge extra fees although they were there within 1 hour.

I love these guys.  Been using them for years.  Always ready and able to help.  The replacement of the GPS unit was accomplished the same day, even though the service man didn't have a unit in his truck when he came to do my spring servicing.  Several options were offered to me on the GPS replacement, and I chose the one that best fitted my needs.

Service people are always prompt and efficient.  I can't speak highly enough about the staff from the appointment lady to anyone who's ever been at my house.  I've used them since approximately 1995 and will continue to do so.

The unit continued to have issues but they came back out and fixed it without charging us again.  The technician was friendly and helpful.

I liked their professional manner when we looked at the different types of equipment options based on the in-home inspection of the property. Their approach has been very professional concerning the details, recommendations and options they have presented. They are very good at different price points; asking what your budget is and then basing that determination on the options they give. They were good with that and the details of what the work scope would be and what it included and what it did not. If it did not include something they said we could do it for specific money as option costs. I knew exactly what I was getting, that's what I liked about that experience. When it came to the actual proposal that they presented me, I liked that. I also like the idea that they are only about 10 minutes away from my home so the proximity was good. After that they have come just twice to the house in response to some questioning that we had to do. They responded quickly so they have been a good provider. Based on the quality of work they do their price was fair and they are punctual. I would say that they are the lowest cost option because my decision was based on the clarity of their proposal and the professionalism of how they conducted the work. When they were in the home they were professional and told me exactly what they were doing. It was good and worked very well.

He was prompt and very nice.  He fixed only what needed to be fixed, didn't even discuss extra options to beef up sales.

Air Star performs our regular maintenance work on our a/c unit, both in and outside the home. They are very professional and prompt.

The workers were all professional and installation was clean and smooth.

It has been about 5 years since I used Air Star, so can't give them a current rating, but I felt they did a good job in the past. I stopped using them because I now use a friend that has his own heating/cooling business.

I've used Air Star for years.  Wouldn't call anyone else.  Very prompt and helpful.
