We used a reference from a friend. He was quick to respond to phone calls. When I first called them to explain what was going on, he was able to tell me a couple of things I should try to see if I could get it working or at least do a little bit of troubleshooting so that he knew better what he was going to work with when he came out. So he just confirmed if he needed to come, and then when he did come, he was more quickly able to get to the problem and fix it. So, I appreciated that. He was willing to see if it was something minor that I could have done. He had to go and find the blower motor since he didn't have one, and he went and got one very promptly that we had it by the next day versus than having to wait to order it. He just made sure that we weren't without air conditioning for too long. He is pretty reasonable.

He was just the nicest gentleman. He was very personable. He was explaining things to me. I'm 71 and didn't understand half the things he talked about, but he took the time to try to help me understand because my daughter was at work and I was there by myself. He was just a gentleman and a nice person. He was very polite and well-mannered.

Robert was able to get the job done around my odd work schedule. He is very knowledgable and truly wants to make sure that you get the proper unit for your needs. I am sure we will be just as happy with his service/maintenance as the installation.

We got on Angie's list only to find many companies in the area w/ good ratings. Ultimately, we chose this company because of a close friends referral. They arrived quickly and prepared. Fair pricing. Would use again.

My home warranty company wanted to throw a new furnace in to replace one that didn't seem to be working well. The original HVAC guy couldn't quite figure it out, so he just said it should be replaced. For a second opinion I called Air Repair and it turns out that the problem was just something installed poorly. It took a lot of effort to figure it out, but Air Repair wanted to get it right and didn't want me to have to replace something that wasn't broken. Robert carefully explained everything, and even got on his phone to my current unit's manufacturer to figure out what was going on. Over the years the previous owners seem to have had people out to work on it but all they did was temporary, unsafe, and messy. Robert fixed all that. He wasn't here to make a buck and go away; he was here to get to the hidden root of the problem and fix it correctly.

Robert is the only person i want servicing my HVAC system he installed it. He maintain it he is the best!.

Robert is a consumate professional. He came at first to give me an estimate along with other companies. He studied my existing A/C system, measured the air flow in each room and determined the load of the house. I was concerned with the cost but he came with good recommendations so I decided to go ahead with the job. He was also the only company that offered a parts and labor warranty for 10 years for less than one thousand dollars. He started by totally removing the old A/C system and cleaning up the mess in the attic from the original installers. He put a temporary A/C unit in the house in case we needed it. Then he started building the platform for the new system. It took him some time but the system is installed beautifully! He moved the ductwork to the side of the attic which gave me an extra 100 square feet of open area. He installed the new ductwork, A/C unit and flex to each area. Then he supported everything to prevent dips and air flow restrictions. Lastly, he measured air flow from each duct and balanced it through the house. In addition, he repaired a dryer vent unit that didn't vent out of the house to prevent a future fire. He added parts for an electro-static air cleaner at now extra charge. For the first time since we built this house, we could sleep comfortably without 2 large fans and a ceiling fan humming in the background. WE LOVE IT!! We highly recommend his company for new installation and yearly or emergency maintenance. This is one A/C company that we will keep using for as long as we live in Texas!

11/20/2012- I wanted to add an update to this review. Before we had this work done, our monthly electric bill averaged $350. The way the new duct work was installed and the type of system, size and balancing that Robert did made a HUGE difference in our comfort. Our new electric bills average $230 per month and even during this last summer with 100+ degree days and no shade trees in our yard, our house stayed a comfortable temperature without running several fans. The highest bill we got was for August and it was only $250. Truly a BIG difference in our budget, comfort and life. The first service call after about 6 months was free so Robert could check out the system and make sure we were satisfied. We Love Robert's work!!

They were very professional when they came and performed the work. They looked sharp, they were knowledgeable, and worked very efficiently.
