Perfect! I am going to hire him again this year

This review is long overdue, and I am remiss that I didn't make time, upon project completion, to submit this review. Leonard is a pro. He has deep knowledge and a passion for irrigation that only a great deal of experience can provide. His professionalism and straight-forward style were well-received by my wife and me. We had a large improvement project that affected our entire backyard, and side yard irrigation system. After much research, there were no diagrams of our existing irrigation system. Leonard was able to do the work masterfully. I tend to be a person that likes things to work properly (like the Dyson guy :) ), instead of quickly or in haste. Leonard is exactly that professional. In addition, to repairing and replacing our irrigation system, he identified and recommended improvements that have helped our system work flawlessly and much better than previously. If you want a gentleman to perform your irrigation work that is kind, direct, knowledgeable, and professional, then Leonard is your guy. I not only recommend Leonard, but I will use him again for our irrigation needs.

Leonard Killgore is in the process of repairing my very old sprinkler system. He’s very skilled & has been wonderful & patient with me (I accidentally axed through a sprinkler pipe). I confessed my blunder & asked if he could come by in the morning as I had to shut off the water supply so it’d stop spewing everywhere. He was very kind & fixed it promptly & beautifully. It was a horrible muddy mess on a cold day at that. He always answered my calls promptly. Also, I’m on a fairly strict budget & his prices are fair. He gave me options & did not push things I did not need done. He has been trustworthy & honest. I would definitely recommend him & plan on using his services again.

It went well. Leonard provided a free estimate, showed up to do the work at my first opportunity, worked steady to do the work with my input, made several trips to the house, and cleaned up afterwards.

Leonard was GREAT! He came to give me a free estimate but at first could not find the problem. With his knowledgeable background he wanted to figure out what was wrong on his own so that he could give an honest estimate. I did not have to buy any parts to fix my system. Leonard was very reasonable in pricing and fairness!! I would recommend this man for any sprinkler problem and I have his name and number taped to my system. GOOD JOB - WELL DONE!

Leonard was easy to contact. He answered my call right away and came by the same day. He gave me notice that he was on his way. He quickly figured out the problem areas and repaired the issues. He gave me plenty of time to explain my concerns and explained what he was doing and where he could make improvements. Leonard made changes that will save me money and improve my lawn. He will be my sprinkler repairman from now on.

Leonard is a real PRO. He analyzed the situation and found the problem. Valve was original equipment (circa 1991). He had some hard digging in a tight spot but got the job done. He was friendly, courteous and a real professional. He taught me some things about the system I didn't know. He got me on his schedule quickly. I would definitely use again and would highly recommend him.

Leonard was contracted through a landscape company called Texas Dream Garden to install my sprinkler system. He did the job and had a slight attitude that worries me along the way. He offered a 3 year warranty with his service. Well 3 months later my back flow preventer was spilling water from the bottom. I called the landscaper along with Leonard for two weeks to get this fixed. He said he sent his “friend” that was a 40 year expert and is licensed to take care of back flow preventers. That expert said I needed to replace my pressure regulator that goes to my house. Over the course of two weeks my grass was dying and it didn’t add up why that regulator would be the problem because it was the backflow preventer that was leaking. I argued with Leonard to come fix my system but his only resolution was that he would dig a hole in my yard to replace my pressure regulator and I would need to pay him if that fixed the problem. I didn’t agree to that since he wouldn’t even come to fix the backflow device why would I trust him to warranty my pressure regulator. So with 2 weeks of Leonard refusing to come out and my grass dying, I ended up calling the manufacturer of the backflow device. After having them walk me through everything I was able to fix the backflow device without having to replace anything, without having to change out my pressure regulator, and without a “40 year expert.” I plan on sending my story to the state licensing board.

Leonard called me and was able to fit me in a day earlier than promised. He arrived on time. He checked to make sure the control panel was working properly. He then replaced the main valve. The error messages then disappeared from the panel. He checked the rest of the valves, ran the sprinkler zones to make sure they had good coverage, and made some adjustments to the heads. And the repair was completed. Throughout the process, he explained what he had found, and the repairs/adjustments being made.

Leonard is a true professional. Very friendly and helpful with great advice. He found time for our repair on a very short notice. What a relief to find someone that's truly honest, ethical and fair. Great work at a reasonable price! He's now on our list of "helpers." Thanks Leonard!

Very well. He responded with a time he could come and I confirmed. He was actually a few minutes early for the appointment. I thought I needed a new sprinkler but he knew it was just the riser and he replaced it and added some fill dirt to make the sprinkler more stable. He also checked out the rest of my front yard sprinklers and replaced a head on another one. Very professional and nice.

I called Leonard for his help as my sprinkler valves were not connected to the controller in the garage. He was able to identify the issue, get it fixed, and get the system tuned up for the season. He was responsive and punctual. He even provided advice on a landscaping project I was working on at the time. Would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

Leonard seems to be a one-man show, so making the appointment required some telephone tag - he didn't call back when he said he would initially, but eventually the appointment was made. The job before mine took much longer than anticipated, so wound up having to wait around the house for several hours for my job to start. Once here, though, he worked efficiently to check out my system, identified items needing repair, and completed everything in a little over 2 hours.

He did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone and will hire him for future irrigation needs of sprinkler system.

Leonard was courteous and thorough. He explained the sprinkler system and went above and beyond in his analysis. Would highly recommend and rehire.

After giving a description of the leaking area and testing the system, Leonard identified the problem, dug up the affected area and quickly repaired the damaged section.

Great! Leonard was quick to contact me back with flexible availability. He turned up a few things, adjusted the water pressure, zones and a few settings for winter!
