Affordable Pet Care Basse

The experience with the vet and Affordable Care went well. I didn't like the idea of putting the cat down but I knew it was for the best. He was having such a difficult time breathing. When I told her I wanted to put him down at home, she said she understood completely. Everyone at the vet clinic was very nice to me and had very good bedside manner with the critter.

I’m not really happy with them right now.  It was not because of the service that was provided but because of the price, it was so expensive.  Since I went there last year, they increased their price for the same services that I have gone back for.  But I noticed that they bought new equipment.

afterwards My female stray was due to be spayed. The vet did great job and my cat was fine

Over the course of a couple of days, my dog began having problems standing on her back legs. It appeared that she may of slipped and somehow hurt herself. I called Affordable Pet Care and got a same day appointment. The staff at Affordable Pet Care were amazing. They were all so gentle and caring towards my dog Indy.
The vet spent a good 30 minutes examing Indy, but could not say definitively whether this was a symptom of hip dysplasia or just a curable injury. The vet said she really did not want to prescribe a course of action without getting an Xray first. She added that Affordable Pet Care did not have Xraying capabilities. She did recommend that we go to Lincoln Heights Vet Clinic because they were close by and did have an Xray machine. Much to my surprise, the vet instructed her tech to see if we could take Indy there today, even though it was already late afternoon. Lincoln Heights said for us to bring Indy right over.
During our visit at Affordable Pet, my dog, who could not get up on her own, proceeded to empty her bladder and bowels on the floor of the clinic. Indy also got a thorough exam. I asked how much I owed. Affordable Pet Care said they were not able to provide the Xray so I did not owe them anything. Really? After spending 45 minutes with Indy and me, and then cleaning up after Indy, I did not owe them anything? Talk about a special place that deserves a big, big THANKS!
This business is totally pet- and customer-friendly. I've never experienced such caring and genuine niceness as I received from Affordable Pet Care. They are Great!

My experience overall has went very well. The staff is very friendly and professional and take great care of my pet while visiting. The pricing is reasonable. I would highly recommend this vet to others.

My whole family uses their excellent service. They do what they need to do and explain what needs to be done. They have performed surgery on two of our dogs with excellent results.

The Clinic is open late on Wednesday's and open on Saturdays for vet visits. However, on the weekend - no matter when you come in - when you come in for nail clippings you will be the last one to get and quot;treatedand quot;. But I really like the nurses, they take really good care of my Prince and they always take the time to answer my questions.

It was a bad expierance. However, they do a good job faxing records to other doctors. They are prompt and accurate when the fax over the records.

They charged me $10 for their services. They are pretty good. They don't anesthetize the cat before they give the injection. The cat was calm throughout the injection process. I have seven cats and one of them I took her in there last year. They are all outdoor cats and they've been saved and everything. They're very healthy. I took one of them in there last year and he just bounced up the walls. He was ballistic. Then they finally were able to give him a shot. They're pretty good. I will use them again in the future if I need to.

Their prices are reasonable but I am not sure if they are as detailed and attentive as I would like them to be.

All turned out well; I would use them again.

From the blood work vet noticed blood cell were just a little below normal so she prescribed vitamins (which 30 month supply is only $12). The neutering and dental went great and recovery was quick. They didn't try to oversell on the meds and actually advised unless teeth are extracted is post operation medication needed.

I forgot to schedule an appt so I came in as a walk in. The are open until 7:30 on Wednesdays so this was perfect. i only had to wait 10 min before he was seen. The exam was about $35 and drop about $15. The staff is always very nice.

My dog had a bad reaction to the flea product that they had recommended. I took the product back and they quickly refunded my money and suggested a different type. They were genuinely caring, helpful and knowledgeable. They informed me that there were different products to use if the new one did not work.

Everything went really well. I liked Dr. Fankhauser and his staff. I was impressed that they did not push me to get any tests that I did not want. Although they do offer suggestions and recommendations, they allowed me to make the final decision. I really appreciate that. They don't make you feel like a criminal if you decide not to go along with their advise. Upon their recommendation, I scheduled a teeth cleaning and a micro chip insert. The price I paid also included antibiotics for her teeth, nail trim, and meds for heartworm and fleas for eight months. Comparatively, the price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely go again.
