They were instructed to raise the height of the sidewalk to match the driveway. They cut the sidewalk in half, removed it, and re-poured it 2 feet narrower.
They were instructed to break up the old concrete culvert and sidewalk and haul it off, instead of breaking up the sidewalk, they dug it up with a bobcat, taking the buried sprinkler line with it, destroying the grass in the front yard. The grass was gone, leaving nothing but dirt. They moved the sidewalk halves, concrete culvert pipe and other debris to the far end of the yard 250 feet away thinking it was off my property and dumped it in a zero scape flower bed.
The contractor was instructed to leave the culvert pipe uncovered, I would cover it myself using my small tractor/loader. They scraped the remaining gravel from the front driveway and partially covered the pipe, I returned in time to stop them from stealing gravel from my neighbors driveway. I saw the concrete in the flowerbed but didn't walk over there, I told Fabian to remove it and take it with them. Fabian said they wound as soon as I paid them. BIG MISTAKE! So I paid him, they started loading the bobcat and equipment up, I ask what about the old concrete? He replied that if I gave him another $4000 worth of work, he would remove it. I said no, you agreed to remove it as part of the job. he said he would come back and take care of it. After a couple of days, he quit answering his phone.
