AAA Affordable Plumbing, Heating & AC

While searching for a snake rental their ad pops up on Google and it says "Clogged Drain special $59." I have a clogged shower drain from master bathroom and since this is cheaper than renting a snake I arrange meeting. They come to my house and say, a clogged drain will cost $750 because he has to take the toilet off (two bolts) and that involves labor. I told him about his ad price and he's like, but this is extra labor. They charged me a $59 service fee just to let me know they will rip me off! STAY AWAY!!

Initially, this was a call for backed up toilet. After a camera was inserted it was determined that we had a broken sewer pipe. Our plumbers Jesse and Toby were polite and professional and solved the problem. Toby worked under our foundation for 10 hours so we wouldn’t be without water over night! Toby is very nice.

The repair was excellent. I called several plumbers and AAA was the only one that responded early Saturday morning. The wait time was less than an hour. James assessed the leak and explained the process of repairing the leak. James was very professional and helpful when responding to my questions and concerns. I will definitely use AAA again and refer them to friends and co-workers. Linda

These people should be shut down. We showed the guy where the leak was. He spent about 2 hrs. repairing it: replacing about a foot of PVC pipe. Didn't even throw the old piece away - left it on our lawn. Charged us $2,000 dollars. Yes - $2,000.00 He made my husband sign an invoice up front that this would be the charge if he had to spend the whole day digging and searching. My husband unfortunately gave the guy a check before I got home. I called this guy and asked for a detailed invoice for the work performed. He said the office would send one which of course we never received.

Too expensive. They do not fix the compressor issue during their 1st attempt but received a bill over $500. Their fix only lasted 24 hours. Received an additional estimate to replace the compressor still on warranty for $1,900. Obtained 3 different estimates from other companies to replace the compressor between $1,350 and $,1400. Lastly, they will not provide a receipt of work performed.

Based on some decent online recommendations, I called AAA Affordable Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning to fix a clogged kitchen drain. A plumber came out and spent an hour trying to snake the drain (at a quoted price of $217) but failed. After the snaking failed, he gave me a new quote of $1,587. When I asked why it was so high, he said that the fasteners he would need to replace some degraded 2” cast iron pipe underneath the apartment were extremely expensive. He came back the next day with another plumber and did the job in approximately two hours. For the next three days, I called and asked for a complete invoice that explained the cost, including the “expensive fasteners.” They promised to send it, but I received nothing. I also learned that the fasteners and 8 feet of 2” PVC pipe they installed cost very little. I called again to ask about the price and invoice, and a AAA representative estimated that their basic costs were probably no more than $350. He still refused to give me a complete invoice, and he accused me of misrepresenting my conversations with his employees. Based on my experience, AAA is a disrespectful and deceptive business. I recommend finding another firm to do your job. $1,587 for a two-hour job that was inaccurately explained to me before I agreed to it? I will never use this company again.
