A New Leaf

She was a friendly woman up front and seemed confident that she (after 3 meetings and phone discussions) would be able to apply my simple requests to our flowers (such as adding scalloped lace around the outside of the bouquet). We had a simple, small wedding without many pieces in our order. However, Margaret was late to the hotel downtown by at least 30 minutes in delivery then we were rushing on my wedding day. My bouquet lace was limp and looked nothing like the photos we discussed. Even the concierge at the hotel offered to try to fix it! Worst of all was the fact that she forgot my Mother's wrist corsage. She had told me before the wedding that anytime she orders flowers for a wedding she would order and carry in her delivery van extra just in case. Once she didn't have the corsage for my Mom she said she would then meet us at the church nearby to deliver it. She never showed up, never called to explain why, and never apologized. I called and emailed her and all she did was send a refund check for $20! Very unprofessional.
