We had a 2-part experience with them. We were doing a lot of work in our house so we had to get the furniture out of the house and take it to storage. The first 2 guys who came were just amazing. They were really fast but really careful. It was astounding how they picked everything up and got them in the truck. My husband followed them over to the warehouse and they really did an A+ job. We were so impressed that we asked to have those 2 guys back when we moved back in, but they didn't send those 2 guys. They sent 2 other guys who seemed to be fairly indifferent with what they were doing. My husband was here that day and because they were kind of bumping and banging things around, they didn't seem to be very enthusiastic about what they were doing. Once the things got into the house, my husband told them they could go. We had the first contract and then we didn't know when the furniture would move back so it would have been 2 different contracts from the same company. It was very reasonable. The first 2 people that they sent were just really professional, attentive, and worked very, very quickly and efficiently.

They were absolutely outstanding. They gave me an excellent price. I shopped around and others were charging me around $275.00. A and B were willing to negotiate the price with me. They were prompt, on time, and very careful with moving my piano (which was the most important thing to me). I would definitely recommend them!

They were awesome. They brought enough men to do the work, they did an early assessment of my property. They did a thorough job. They were accurate of the hours it was going to take.

It was good. The moving crew was very good. I had a hard time scheduling it because no one would return my calls. I contacted Angie’s List and they helped me get it set-up. They sent 2 people out to help with the moving.

The two men called ahead of time and communicated with us about approximate arrival time. They cheerfully moved all my belongings safely taking special care with IKEA bookcases that have seen better days. They set up the furniture where I asked them too and I am very happy to have chosen them. This was the third move I have used this company and highly recommend them.

The move was fairly small--just a few pieces of furniture. My sister was moving to an apartment close by so we had taken the boxes earlier in the week. The two movers were very professional and completed the job with no problems. Would definitely hire them again.

A&B Movers did an excellent job of moving household items from storage space to my home. Professional, courteous and efficient. I will definitely call them next time I need movers.

Movers were pretty great. Very helpful and worked hard.

I called A & B Movers LLC on Monday for a quote and a man said somebody would get back to me within 14 hours. The date of my scheduled move was available, according to this man. The call was to confirm details of the move.  I waited until Friday and then contacted another mover. Professionalism means a company follows up on their promised calls. I will not ever recommend this over to anybody!!!!!

The movers workers, Bellinger and Rivers, were careful, strong and courteous.  They were cheeful and pleasant and did a great job.  They arrived a little late, but the weather was bad that day.  I would use this company again anytime.  Apparently the rate they charged, I checked around, was about right.

I called A and B movers before purchasing an Angie's list deal to make sure that the company would be available at the date I wanted. The person answering the phone was very nice and offered the very next day as a moving time. I wanted to go ahead and confirm the moving details  but she assured me that all I needed to do to confirm was to purchase the Angie's deal and fill out the information on the site.
The next day was moving day and I had not heard anything back from the company so I decide to call. Once again the lady answering the call was very nice, but she was unaware of the move appointment. She did honor the time and called her movers .When the movers arrived one of them was already in a bit of a mood . He asked me about the details of the move and was perturbed that no one had done a estimate before his arrival. I explained the situation with Angies list and that I had pre bought 3 hours of moving with 2 men and boxes and showed him my paperwork. The conversation went down hill from there. He didn't believe that the paper work was real at first, and when we got through that issue he had no boxes  , (they only move items packed in boxes) and although most of my things were already packed in boxes I had a few key items clothes ect. that I had needed the boxes they were going to provide. he argued that they do not provide boxes despite the fact that it was writen on the angies list paperwork....his solution was to say 'well do you want to do the move today or not". When I replied that I needed to do the move that day... but would like to also have the boxes that I had prepaid for and would also like to have all my items moved he ignored me, and abruptly asked to see the items needing moving. Luckily for me the other mover call the main office and acknowledged that my paperwork was valid and correct and arranged for the boxes to be delivered while they began wrapping furniture. I did appreciate the young man that came on his day off to bring the boxes. 
The move turned out ok..and I did tip the guys, but honesty it was extremly stressful.
 Honestly...the young man that argued was the main issue. He is not good at costumer relations or trouble shooting..but he was good at moving. The scheduling issue and the box issue were taken care of promptly and I would not have scored them down for these things.

Two movers moved my items from my one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom upstairs. The movers were very fast and professional! They did not damage any of my property! I would highly recommend using them.

First of all, you can hardly find a mover that will give you an option of (1) fixed rate, or (2) hourly rate.  They send someone (in our case, the GM himself came) to your house for FREE to give you a quote on the fixed rate. From there, you can decide on which of the 2 options will work better for you.
I called a lot of movers and a lot of them charge per hour; and most have pretty high hourly rate.  Not everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and there was one very popular mover whose employee (well, the one I talked to) was a little too pushy.  I said from the start that I just wanted a quote, and he was trying to schedule me for the move.  In the case of A&B, it was such a pleasant experience, from the time I called them to inquire, to the time the GM came to the house to give me a quote for the fixed rate, to the time we actually moved.   Everyone at A&B is very nice, kind, courteous.  By that, I mean, the owners, too!
Needless to say, I did get a good quote from A&B.
We're very happy with how everything went.  I will definitely use their services again, if and when I need a mover, and will recommend them to friends, or anyone who asks me about my experience with the company.

We were scheduled for a 9 am pickup and move. I purposely scheduled for the first appointment of the day, so that I would minimize any delays.  The moving crew did not show-up until 6:30 pm. While that may have been understandable but frustrating (things do happen), what really drove me mad was the unrealistic ETAs the dispatcher kept giving me. From 9 am till 6:30 pm, every time they called or I called them, it was always "They will be on their way in 1 hour." One hour would go by and still no movers. I would call again, and they would give the same story. I sat around in my apartment for 8 hours when I could have been doing stuff at my new home, because I thought they would be there in 30mins to a hour! I could understand being a hour off in your estimate, but 8....it seemed like they were stringing me along. 
Anyhow after the wait was over and the movers showed up, the move went fast and smoothly. The two-man crew was nice, courteous, and competent. We got our entire 1-bedroom apartment moved in two hours. 
If the crew had been on time, I would definitely recommend the company. However judging from other reviews here and elsewhere, their punctuality seems to be chronically poor, and thus I would stay clear of them.

Good. But a steep driveway provided Somme challenges and some doorways were nor as happy after moving process.

It went great!  We had two movers, Marco and Matt.  The respected the items and our home, were careful when moving in and out of the home, we personable, excellent service

I would probably use them again (not sure).  So here's the good bad and the ugly;  The good: They were able to do it the next day and I needed that, They were good at keeping in touch with me about their schedule as well and they moved RELATIVELY fast, adrian and his crew moved faster than the other.  The bad; Sean, their salesperson WAY UNDERESTIMATED the COST AND TIME.  He was thinking one crew 3.5-4 hours approximately $320.  The movers show up say this is a 2 crew job need 2 more people and a truck.  I thought they could have been a little more logistical in filling up the truck better, because I ended up needing another half truck the next day - This probably could have been avoided because it cost me another nearly 500 in moving and boxes.  The ugly:  I gave one of them a stereo amp that I didn't need anymore and tipped all of them well and they charged me for 70/hr plus the 40 for each move and then charged me by the hour while they were actually driving in addition to the $40.  The last time I used movers the drive time was just $40 and not $40 plus $70/hr.  All in all they were good.  Adrian was nice, actually they were all pretty cool; I did appreciate their promptness and how they were able to get to the job so fast as I needed to be out quickly.

I called for a last minute move the day before my lease ended and AB Movers sent three guys and a large truck. They were willing and able to accommodate me by squeezing me in after another party canceled their appointment. The guys were fast, friendly and efficient! In fact, I am about to make arrangements for another move this week with AB Movers because they are awesome!

The movers were on time, carefull with my things, friendly and proffesional, and well priced.  Not much more you can ask for.

It went well, not perfect, however, I was pleased with the service and quickness of the crew.

This was by far the BEST moving experience we have ever had!  They showed up right on time and called before hand to let us know how many minutes away they were.  They went out of their way to give us additional helpful information regarding our move.  I was very worried as we have had horrible moving experiences in the past -- this was nothing like them!  I would highly recomend A&B Movers to anyone that asks.
