1st Room Roofing & Remodeling

All during this remodel,  we, the homeowners, were asked to be the "gophers" - to go for brushes, thinner, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, caulk, plywood, etc.  They used our tools, without permissionn. Ruined a table on our patio with paint thinner, left spray paint on our fence and hose - all of this was discovered after they left.  After work was completed and contractor was paid, we noticed several areas that needed to be redone.  They were called back several times to redo.  The guest bathroom was not used until several months later.  After using the shower numerous times in the guest bathroom, we noticed our  carpet was wet in the adjoining room to the bathroom.  NONE of the plumbing was installed correctly and water was pouring from the fixtures through the wall onto the carpet.  When we called Obed Marriquin, the owner of 1st Room Rooffing and Remodeling, we were informed it  would be a couple of months until he could be here to to assess the issue (he was working in Missouri).  We then had to call a plumber to fix what should have been done correctly by Mr. Marriquin.

We have cautioned all our friends and neighbors about Mr. Marriquin and his company and not to consider them at all.
