TV Service - Cable
They provided internet and phone service. The internet service was outstanding the phone service however was not. On May 26th I sold my house and cancelled my service and asked for a refund. I did provide them my new contact information and they said it would take 4 weeks to receive my refund of $87.33. I called back and they then said it would be 2 more weeks. I called than again on July 26th and they said you were told wrong and it would be 8 weeks. Turns out they sent it to my old address and there was no one to receive it there. They mailed it out the first time on 8/1 and it came back to them. They did resend it but once again to the wrong address. I did verify the new address several times and they still don't have it correct. They said that because I didn't request the $87.33 they didn't send it. I called on 8/20 and told them I want my refund back and they said they will send it to the new address. She did confirm the new address and then told me it would take another 4-6 weeks again. I had to repeat the information so many times and then they had me speak to someone who spoke Spanish but was able to speak with them unbeknownst to them. I think they are playing games with me and I don?t appreciate it. I will say that anytime I did have a problem with my phone they did respond.
Update: My refund for $87.33 that I first requested on May 26, 2013, then four weeks later, again two weeks later, again two weeks later, & again two weeks later on August 20, was received August 28, 2013.
I recommend you keep records with anyone you deal with at Sudden-link. I recommend another cable service or other TV/Internet reception. Sudden-link received a grade of 'F' in all services. They deserve less for their 'do not care attitude' in returning refunds.
