CHUCK CORFIELD CONSTRUCTION

Chuck Corfield Construction was the most undependable contractors I've ever seen?  You never knew when or if they were going to show up for work and some days they would work a couple of hours and then just leave.  They quoted the job would take about two weeks and a month later it still was not finished.  I had to call Chuck Corfield himself to complain about the poor quality of work and he kept promising to return to make things right.  He then promised his brother would make things right and that never happened either.  My last conversation with the brother, he told me that Chuck's son would make things right because he was a real pro at what he did and that never came to pass as well???  I contacted Chcuk Corfield so many times and heard so many hollow promises to make this remodel job right and here in February of 2012, the repairs still have never been made!!!  These people are the LAST contractors you want doing anything for you, including building a doghouse!

there was good communication though out the whole job  when something came up that wasn't in the bid they presented option
it seemed like they were very easy to work with

A few days into the project, my gut feeling was something was not right.  The project was quoted at taking 4 to 6 weeks.  It ended up taking three months.  He had people doing the work that had no idea what they were doing.  From what I have been told from other contractors that have come in, he violated many codes and they had not seen such bad work.   He has come and seen that the work needs to be fixed.  He has kept putting me off, and has not come over and fixed any of the work.
