Terrible. Wish I had checked references or with friends prior to using this person. Randy was very quick to respond. I called him 1/3/23, he came on 1/4/23 and said he would check the actuator and the board later. On his way to the "ranch". On 1/6/23 WITH NO NOTICE, he was at my gate & had removed my control board & actuator. No discussion of what was wrong. He replaced my 835/836 control board with a 635 Apollo board. Work was done before I could get to the gate. He was in a hurry. My fault: I paid him $1,650 on the spot. He would email me a receipt!!! Called & sent text 6 more times. Still no receipt, no control board manual, no paperwork. He always blames his wife, which I'm told is his habit. The option of not paying just means he will come in the middle of the night and take the actuator. On my previous board, I had specifications so I could adjust/fix when necessary. Have nothing on this one. Just my bank copy of the check that Dana Shaw deposited. Please get someone else to work on your gate opener.

The repair went fine and our gate is operating as usual. In the past he has serviced the gate parts to keep them operating properly.
