I contacted this provider on recommendation from a plumbing fixture supply business in Richardson.
They supply house gave me 3 recommendations, and I called all three. This provider was my choice because he was able to quote an exact cost rather than an hourly charge which he said was fair for him and his clients, and I agreed. He arrived within the time quoted, and after a reconfirmation of the cost quoted, he started to work and didn't stop until finished. He is personally very neat, wears a uniform and tidy with his work. No mess left behind and answered a couple questions I had about the new faucets when finished. He completed the entire job in approximately 4.50 hours. The company is based in Plano and prefers not to do work south of LBJ/75, but agreed to do my job only if I agreed to do the entire job quoted the same day. His reasoning for this restriction is travel time to and from, and I fully understand this reasoning.

I have used Michael exclusively for all my plumbing needs since moving to Dallas, but this was the last time I will use him. He came out and charged $400 to replace an outdoor spigot that was leaking. That job went just fine. But later than night I noticed that my slab was soaking wet and water was coming out from under it. I called Michael, and to his credit, he came out at 10pm at night to look at the issue. He sent his other plumber out the next morning to get a better view in the daylight and they decided that I had a slab leak in the exact location of replaced outdoor spigot. Michael said the 2 weren't related at all, and that he didn't do slab work. Yes, he used to do slab work.... yes he's a master plumber and trained in doing it..... yes he has all the right equipment.... he just chooses not to do it.
So I was forced to go to another company pay $2000 for a slab leak repair, then another $1000 to redo the tile, paint, etc in the bathroom that was on the interior wall of where the leak was.
Bottom line was he replaced an outdoor spigot, and less than 18 inches away 6 hours later I developed a slab leak. Are the 2 related? I guess we'll never know.... but he should have been willing to clean up the mess he made.....

Overall this was a very good service experience. The scheduling of the service was very easy. Michael was very competent and professional. He did a great job installing the fixtures and was very conscientious in keeping the area clean.

Fixed the bath tub sprout leaking inside the wall. very knowledge and no push on anything. He gave me options with the costs associated let me pick. His communication skill is super and explained everything in detail, not only the problem he worked on, but also other plumbing problems I run into. During the service, he did his best to preserve the tile. fixed the problem quick and tested throughly. while waiting for the testing result, Mike examined my water heater and found there are water leak. right now I am in tight budget and want to wait for the dust settle down before work on it. Mike gave me an temporary solution to avoid container rusty. I will definitely use his service again.

His name is Michael Hairston. He is the only plumber that I use. He is good and his prices are reasonable. He is honest and punctual. He comes out quickly and does his job and leaves. He doesn't hang around like other workers. He always tells it like it is and charges accordingly.

He knew how to get all of the correct parts, and knew which ones were under warranty. He didn't even charge me for the first service call because it was more of a fact-finding mission. He's a really nice guy and very respectful.

I called Michael, and he said his plumber would get in touch with me and let me know how much the job would cost. When his plumber showed up, he was from a different company (Benchmark). The work was never actually done by Michael, nor did he follow up to see how it went. I was not unhappy with Benchmark's work at all, I was just a bit startled as to why Michael didn't do the work himself.

Michael did a excellent job, very professional and would highly recommend him.

Michael was very prompt. I enjoyed talking to him very much. He is a very, very nice man and seems to be quite competent. My daughter has used him for some time. He is very proud of his rating in Angie's List.
