I usually use Angie's List but I hired this contractor through another referral service, which was my first mistake. The first day he installed the dead bolt properly. However, he damaged the first ceiling fan and I had to replace it. The second day he installed three ceiling fans without incident other than listening to him complain including inappropriate racial remarks that I found offensive. The third day he installed one storm door, which required my help. The storm door was not installed properly and did not close properly. He installed it over some wood that should have been replaced. He got angry and argued with me when I asked him to complete the job properly but made a few adjustments and left without hauling away the old door. I had to clean up and hire another contractor I found on Angie's List to haul away the old door and install the door properly.  He also damaged the second storm door and I had to return it for replacement. I called him and told him I would get someone else to install the second storm door and entry door. I paid him because I didn't want him to do any more damage to my property and to end our business relationship. However, I realized I had also paid him for the second storm door that had not been installed.I asked him to return the check so I could replace it with a new check for the correct amount. When he didn't return the check I put a stop payment on it. Instead of returning the check for replacement he turned it over to the DA for collection.
I had to physically help this contractor with the project and clean up after him. I also had to listen to him complain about the job the entire time he was in my house with his inappropriate racial remarks that I found offensive. This contractor overall is slow, sloppy, and dishonest with poor quality workmanship. However, I found a new highly rated Angie's List contractor that was referred to my by another highly rated Angie's List contractor and I'm very confident my entry door and storm door will be installed properly.

Very prompt - priced the job was able to start immediately. Very detailed throughout the whole installation even though several modifications had to be made very clean process and thorough.

He did a really good job. The price was reasonable.

The ancient fixtures have been leaking, damaging the wall and floor next to the shower. Mark Horner of DNA accessed the plumbing through the sheetrock, replaced the old shower with the new set I had already provided and replaced the sheetrock with a "trap door" access panel, in case of future plumbing needs.
