Perfect. I was totally satisfied with all work done.

Larry set up an appointment within a few days of my call.  I have a 1.5 acres irrigated lot with 24 zones and so lots of rotors and drips and spray nozzles.  I have not had it professionally repaired in the 8 years we owned the house and knew there were lots of things not working optimally.  Before contacting Larry and Bean Irrigation I had gotten quotes from two other highly rated companies on Angies List,  but their charges per rotor to replace were $25 to $30 which is a huge markup plus labor.   Given the large number I needed to have replaced (24) plus other parts the bill was going to be quite large so decided to get an additional quote.



I  contacted Larry on the recommendation of someone who had used him recently for a commercial project and praised his work.  Larry came out on the date and time we scheduled with two men who he supervised and worked with.  Having at least 2 working on a system is much more efficient than 1; the first company I got a quote from did not offer this.  He worked efficiently with the two others  and ended up having to replace 24 rotors (at $15 each which is half of what previous quotes were), 22 nozzles, 10 risers, 16 spray heads and 1 bubbler. He also repaired two leaks. Parts totaled $542 and labor for 3 men for 5 hours was $475 ($95 an hour) for a total of $1017 which was very close to his initial estimate.  He was actually here longer but did not charge me for his initial assessment time. 



He also made very good recommendations about where risers should be raised or lowered to be most effective.  He also made some good recommendations about using the controllers.    Overall he was very professional, thorough and his prices are very fair.  I highly recommend him and plan to have him out annually to inspect everything and make sure it is working well.  He is very personable and easy to work with.  Highly recommend him and his company.

We were in the process of new landscaping in both front and back yards.  We were told by the previous owners there had been an irrigation system installed at one time but hadn't worked for more than a decade.  Larry Bean first tried to resurrect the old system but it was beyond help.   He used our landscape design to design an efficient irrigation system for the new plantings and also to keep the foundation wet.  We requested a Rainbird controller, which he provided.  He did all the footwork, obtained a city permit, and performed the work in coordination with the landscape contractor.  He very patiently walked us through the use of the controller and assured us he would come back if we needed him.  He and his workers worked in triple digit weather and always appeared cheery and happy.  Great contractor!!!

They gave a stright answyer while other companies were going arround the bushes. The performed the job to perfection and cleaned after themselves.  highly recommend them.
