Tri County Septic is here to meet your needs for waste water. Our company is based out of Royse City and serves counties in the surrounding areas. We are doing our part by providing proper maintenance and service repairs on existing aerobic septic systems. Need a service policy? Need repairs done? Have a question and want an answer? Looking for personal service? Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal and it is our desire to have your highest rating in customers service! Environmental safety for your home and family is our responsibility. As a homeowner, it is important that you are educated about your septic system, making sure it is properly maintained and cost efficient. We are also offering above-ground and in-ground storm shelters.

Our company policy goes beyond just the minimum required by the state. Repairs are based on pricing of materials and labor charges. Contractor personally took after hour phone call for service and scheduled and completed work as promised. Stopped at house after work completed to insure that all was to our satisfaction.

Jack spoke to me on the phone, asked for details and told me he'd be calling me back to let me know when he could arrive. Within 30 minutes, he called back and said he was on his way. He arrived 10 minutes later and we looked at the problem. Jack asked me who had our inspection service and I was unsure. He called his admin and had it looked up. I was due to have an inspection, so he included that in his visit to look at my problem. He was very helpful in explaining the system and its components. He even helped me diagnose a broken water line in my irrigation system. He is knowledgeable, personable, and fair. There is a reason why this company's services come so highly scored and recommended. I will definitely use him again.

Because of locked entry gates, this provider always calls ahead and coordinates on-site arrival. This is the third year under contract with owner of Tri-County Jack Self and the firm has always communicated and worked on a timely fashion and offered options to services that have saved me money and time.

When we had our septic tanks pumped out, we found out one of the tanks was broken. After searching on Angie's List I found Tri-County Septic and saw the wonderful reviews they had. They definitely lived up to them! I called to ask about replacing the tank and we scheduled a time for him to come out and take a look at it - Friday. He was held up on another job and wasn't able to make that time - which he apologized profusely for - and frankly I like the fact that he stayed on the previous job and finished it. He did come out the next day (Saturday) and looked everything over for me. We agreed on the work to be done and he could've started the following Monday, but I had a previous appointment and wanted to be home in case any problems arose. We scheduled it for Tuesday and they showed up bright and early. No problems whatsoever, very professional, didn't mind me asking questions and taking pictures (so we'd know exactly where everything was located).
I will most definitely use Tri-County Septic again and highly recommend them!

We called Jack Self from Tri County Septic just after lunch today when we noticed the problem. He came out the SAME DAY and fixed it. We had a standpipe with an adjustable drain that drips bleach into the third tank. He removed it and explained that not only was it unnecessary, it was actually the source of the problem. The standpipe was blocking the flow to tank three. He cleared the clog, cleaned everything out and made sure the whole system was working before he left. Very pleasant and professional. I'm writing this review at 3 pm. He left about 15 minutes ago. MUCH better experience than I had expected. I would use him again and recommend him to others. I only wish he was close enough to use for our regular maintenance.

Jack has to be hands down the best person I have worked with yet on Angie's List. He is so nice and professional. You can just tell he is a good person. I would not have closed on my new house if it was not for him....A condition of my closing was the septic tank had to be pumped. He had it done the same day I called. He walked my husband through the system and how it worked. He even told him about the area and the best places to eat around town. He told us ways to save money on our system and did not try and price gouge us at all. He has a family to and knows times are tough for everyone. I am having him come back out next week to install 3 risers and a new filter. I will never use another septic guy again. For $150.00 I received an inspection and paid yearly for the quarterly maintenance program. $350.00 was to pump the septic.

I contacted Jack via the email form his website and received a call back almost immediately. We decided it'd be best if he came out and took a look at things. He was willing to come out the next day, but I was out of town. He agreed to come out the following day and he'd call the night before to arrange a time. The night before, I got no call. I ended up calling him the next morning. He was unable to give a firm time. He came around 7pm that night and we decided on what needed to be done. He's a very nice guy and easy to work with. He was here the next morning and did the work. Most of it was underground, but everything appears to be working fine. The soil that was excavated was put back in good condition. My Direct TV coax cable was cut in the process, but I was able to fix it myself. He had asked if there were any lines that ran in that area, but I wasn't sure. I was unable to be there at the time the work was being done, so he had me leave a check. He said he'd leave an invoice in the mailbox and contact me about the status of my septic tank. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back from him.
I was expecting to pay quite a bit more for the work that was being done, so it's hard to complain about the poor communication. My septic issue was not an emergency, so I would have much rather scheduled a firm time than to take off work and wait around all day. I would also prefer to billed than to pay upfront. It appears he specializes more with the Aerobic systems than conventional septic tank, but he did a fine job none the less. From what I can tell, his business is a one man show and I enjoy supporting a small business. If you're willing to be patient, he'll do a great job for you.
