S Clements Homes Inc.

Scott Clements Custom Homes is not custom. He has a standard package and that is what you get. Contractors are dispatched and not supervised. The man is discourteous, disrespectful, temperamental and dishonest. My house is left with damaged tiles, a fireplace that smokes up the house and water leaks in every time is rains. He does not honor a warranty and does not stand behind his work. In addition, he still feels it appropriate to send me insulting text messages.

He rarely returned telephone calls or emails.  It took 14 additional months beyond the close date to finish the build.  He presented me a $42,000 invoice for "overages" 30 days prior to closing, but refused to provide any back-up data, receipts, etc.  There was no supervision of the sub contractors.   

We are having a home built near Quitman Texas on Lake Fork by Scott Clements. We have gone over just about every detail with Scott.  His other employees have been great and very accommodating. He uses high quality materials the are up to date. Many of the extras on other homes are standard on his.

I would at this point in time highly recommend S Clements Custom Homes.

We had our first custom home built with Mr. Clements and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Scott helped make a stressful time into an enjoyable time. The house was built as requested in a timely manner. Scott is easy to talk with and he will also give ideas if your open to them. Scott has also corrected any and all warranty work that was needed. I have also called Scott back several times for other small jobs that I was wanting around the house.
