My experience with On Call Plumbing was excellent. Ed went above and beyond to make sure that our plumbing was fixed and our water was back on the same day he came out. We had 3 breaks in our pipes requiring finding the leaks, removing brick from the exterior walls to repair 2 of the breaks, and mortaring all of the bricks back into place. This took 7 hours going until after dark. We greatly appreciated that Ed was determined to complete the entire job that day. He also made sure to put pipe insulation (which the builders did not) on the pipes and added extra insulation inside the exterior wall. The price for all of this work was also much cheaper than expected. Fantastic service.

I am very pleased with the entire project. The quote I was given was less than expected & was also the final cost. The workmen were on time, let me know what they were doing each day & what I needed to do (keep electricity on for them), & cleaned everything up at the end. They also took the removed cast iron pipes away & did very little disruption to my lawn. The work was completed on time & thankfully the weather cooperated. I would highly recommend this company. Also, the inspector was laughing as he left & I took that as a good sign as well.

You can definitely tell which contractors truly want to help people, and which ones just want their money. Joe was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, informative, and honest. I think many contractors would have taken this opportunity to diagnose thousands of dollars in "needed repairs", but Joe found that I did not have a leak after all. I will definitely hire On Call Plumbing for the next job I need done.

My husband and I bought a house and needed a hydrostatic test on the sewer in order to have a foundation warranty transferred. After having two other plumbers out to our house and getting confusing and conflicting information, as well as shady estimates that left out costs, we finally found On Call Plumbing through a friend's recommendation. 

Joe came out and was able to ascertain that we did indeed have a leak. He took the time to explain to me how he was able to come to that conclusion and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the process for locating the leak and gave me an upfront, fair, set price (not hourly as the other two plumbers had). 

I will be recommending them and using them for any future plumbing needs. They are clearly a company with values and integrity.

The people who came out were professional, especially Joe Vickery who did all the testing.  Prompt, courteous, willing to discuss the problems in detail.
We had the leak test ($175) done before the foundation work and found we had a leak.  Also had the gas line test ($450?) done on the first visit to save on the hassle of multiple appointments.  This was all at my own expense, as sometimes you can find a leak that is causing the foundation problems, and sometimes your insurance will pay for part of the repairs if caused by the leak. After careful consideration of the facts, and discussion with the owner of On-Call and my foundation repair company, I decided to not to try and use insurance, as I was convinced the chances of getting anything were slim, and would also take a long time to work out, and I wanted this done ASAP.
We went ahead with the foundation repair, and afterward, had the plumbers came out to do another test at the foundation companies expense- it was built into the contract.  Now the leak was worse.
Had to have the plumbers come do an isolation test at our expense - about $500.00- and took most of the day.  Found the problem was not where I suspected on an exterior wall where the foundation had sunk quite a bit, but rather was in the interior of the house at the washer drain.  Looking back, I now realize this could have contributed to the foundation problem, making the center of the house heave up , or at least not settle with the rest of the house due to drought.  Still, I can imagine an independant engineer hired from the insurance company would not likely have ruled in my favor.  I'm not hung up on it.
Moving forward, we had them come do the repairs ($2450 as I recall), which required jackhammering the foundation in the interior of the home where the utility closet is, and digging to get to the broken coupling about 3' down.  It was a fairly large hole!  I watched them make the repair, and fill the hole, and replace the concrete. they did an excellent job.  Next was another static leak test on the sewer line (included) and all was A-OK.
I'm torn on rating the pricing. this was expensive and this is not a discount plumber. their prices are in line with others I spoke with.  However, the job as done right, no guesswork, no re-work, no additional charges over what was quoted and excellent communication! That said, it was a lot of money, and nobody wants to be out a lot of money. but I'll go ahead and give an "A" on price based on the overall job and how well it went with them, with zero hassle.

The technician was very polite and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do in detail to check the integrity of the main water lines in the house as well as the sewer drains. At the conclusion of his work, he provided a detailed report that showed no leaks that i can put with the rest of my house records associated with the foundation repairs. I would definitely recommend On Call Plumbing.

Fantastic experience at a time when we were not expecting to
have something else to fix once foundation repair was made. The plumber came out and spent about 3 hours
for a comprehensive inspection to identify if there was an issue. The scheduling was smooth and once the repair
work was made it took exactly how long was estimated, just over a day. I wish though I would have included hauling
away the extra “soil” as there was a fair amount of excess dirt that I had to
spread around the property. Great

They were prompt and explained things well. I checked with another plumber. The price was competitive, especially since it required two trips. Both plumbers were knowledgeable and great to deal with. They saved the pipe that was removed for me so I could see the damage and tree roots. At some point, we probably would have had to deal with this down the road on an emergency basis.

On-Call gave us great service on a range of services. Their plumber, Joe, was honest and explained things clearly. I felt like the cost was fair and that the level of service from the plumber and the office was great. We've already recommended On-Call to a family member in need of a plumbing inspection.

We are completely satisfied with the results. The Forman on this project, Jose, communicated with us about each phase of their work and he and his crew completed the job in five days, beginning on a Monday and finishing up by Friday afternoon. We praise them for a task well done and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone requiring their services.

I didn't know what was needed until the plumber had assessed the situation. He worked and worked to dislodge the drain blockage , then he recommended installation of a cleanout just outside the house. When our house was built almost 60 years ago, building codes didn't require installation of cleanouts, but they are absolutely necessary. For a total cost of about $700, including a $100 "Sunday surcharge," we are completely satisfied with the work that was done. We were afraid the news could have been so much worse.

Joe was very courteous and professional!! I will be using On Call Plumbing in the future.

They showed me a camera where I had breaks in some of the sewer lines and they stayed late on christmas eve to make sure it was done before I had family over.

I contacted On Call Plumbing for an estimate to perform the leak test for my entire house to make sure that the foundation lifting did not create plumbing or sewer breaks. The owner, Barrett Sherman arrived early, but called before coming to make sure it was convenient for me and of course it was great that he could be here earlier. Very courteous, professional and was very thorough in explaining the details of the test that would be done and what was involved. At no time did I ever feel that honesty was an issue when it came to the test performed . The cost for the testing was very competitive based on my quotes received from 3 other plumbing companies. After completing the work in a timely manner, his diagnosis was good in that there were no leaks detected. I have heard about plumbing companies who deceive consumers into thinking that they have a leak (even when there are no leaks) just to get to do the very costly repair work. Barrett Sherman and On Call Plumbing is not one of those companies. Very honest owner and operator and I would highly recommend them for your plumbing service needs as a satisfied consumer.
