Our house has a 90* turn on the stair landing, which makes a hard job even harder. The piano movers were VERY careful with our piano and, just as important in my opinion, very kind and respectful of each other. They took their time getting the piano up the stairs and even adjusted the casters on the piano once it was in place to make sure it was stable. My husband and I were very impressed with this company!

The crew was very professional. They had no issues with the antique Steinway that gave the Steinway dealer recommended mover issues a number of years ago.

The whole experience was perfect. Martins made the pickup and delivery of the piano appear as easy as me taking a box of tissue from my bedroom to the kitchen in my home.

Martin's was VERY responsive and was able to move the piano the same day I called them.  The move went quick and they did a great job transporting the piano. The installation was a bit shaky.  When the movers were reinstalling the legs back on the piano, I could tell they took some shortcuts putting the legs back on.  Luckily I an an avid woodworker and was able to "help" them get the legs installed properly.  If I had not caught them, I swear on of the legs could have easily come loose and the piano tipped over.  I hate to be negative, overall they did a great job and their job is not to do piano repair/maintenance, but the leg problem could have been handled much better.  I would still use them again.
Response from MARTIN'S PROFESSIONAL PIANO MOVING

"Sometimes with old piano's the screw holes are worn out (or wallowed out) from previous moves and we have to fill the holes in with wood pegs that we always keep on our truck, we never charge for this. We never walk away unless we are 100% sure that the piano is in a safe position no matter what. There are a lot of piano's that we move that are special needs, we are well aware of that and we go out of our way and beyond our job description to make sure that these piano's are in a safe and stable condition before we leave."

They had to move the piano down some very stairs because it's a really old house. I was impressed that they did the job and they got here safely. They were there on time and they were professional and they had the right equipment to move it. We were considering moving it ourselves but I saw how complicated it was, it wasn't safe. They did excellent, it was good.

Joe Martin and his crew arrived on time. I used them about a year and a half before and they remembered the piano as being heavy. We had very narrow stairs and a hill to roll down, but the crew was professional and moved the piano without damage to the property. Even though my piano is very old and pretty beaten up, they still treated it respectfully and wrapped everything in moving blankets to prevent damage. They were down the stairs in about 15 minutes. Excluding drive time, the entire move took about 20 minutes. Very efficient and professional.

They took great care in moving the piano out of my home, down one step and securely padded and tied it down in their truck. They even took time to dust off the back of the piano before moving it into my son's home.
