This company is great. Super responsive - received a quote quickly and project was completely done less than a week after receiving the quote. Price was reasonable. They were punctual, clean, and did a great job. I usually don't notice gutters, but these gutters are beautiful and actually added to the curb appeal of the house. Would definitely recommend.

A.P. Thorp did a great job installing rain gutters with leaf guards and even installed a couple of extra pieces where water sometimes went over the previous gutters during heavy rains...even though I had not mentioned it. The owner just looked at the configuration of the roof and added the pieces free of charge. Impressive!

Joe and crew did an amazing job. Very professional. They corrected poor workmanship from a previous contractor that caused the issues to begin with. They went above and beyond what was originally discussed, to make sure the end result was of the highest quality. We had used Apthorp at a previous residence and was extremely pleased with the work they did there, making the choice to use them again an easy one.

Two man crew arrived on time, set up traffic cones, work jigs, tools and ladders then began in a most professional manner. Mr. Hart, owner, arrived from another job site and inspected the work done. He also found a problem left by roofers. With my ok, it was repaired w/o cost. Long frontage (85 ft) supports 5 large decorative columns. Downspouts at each end of the porch were expertly installed to blend in with the end columns. If a gutter screen is needed Apthorp Co. bid will be called in. From initial consult to installation/completion, Joseph and crew were complete professionals and completed the job well and with integrity. I would strongly recommend their gutter and roofing services and would happily encourage anyone to obtain a quote/consult for other services offered. Prices were fair and extremely competitive, communication and scheduling was timely and Joseph (owner) was on site for finish and final inspection of job. I think the install went smoothly and looks great. Looking forward to how the gutters perform, but Joseph encouraged me to contact him should I have any concerns in the future. Five stars! Four of my soffits needed to be replaced and my gutter was badly in need of a good clean out and adjusting. Joseph Hart and his crew from Apthorp Construction did a great job from start to finish. Joseph was able to come out the day after I called him to discuss the work required. He got me a reasonable quote with no up selling. He did note that a few of the gutter screens were damaged and offered to replace those as needed. He had a crew available a couple of days later and they just got after it. An excellent job was done on both the gutters and the soffits. They arrived as scheduled and left the area as clean as they found it. I would definitely use his company again.

Quick response for initial verbal quote. Work was done within days of returning the signed written quote. They took care of several loose spots on the gutters and cleaned them out thoroughly, and were as friendly as they could be while following the “social distancing” rules right now.

Fantastic job! The team from Apthorp arrived on time to remove and haul away my old guttering. Then, after I had another company paint the exterior of my home, Apthorp returned on time and installed new guttering. The team was professional and neat. I had no problems communicating with the guys about a certain way that my husband wanted the down spouts on the front of our house. I would definitely use Apthorp again!

Joseph was very responsive and honest. He had installed gutters on part of my house a few years back and now I needed remainder of house done in addition to having a few rusted ones replaced. Also did some work on my patio cover. He did a good job Would definitely hire again.

Joseph came out and measured out house for new seamless gutters.  He demonstrated his knowledge and attention to detail as he outlined some suggestions for a couple of "tricky" areas around our house.  I accepted his quote, and the gutters were installed on 6/3/15.  His 2 man crew arrived around 7:30 am and had the job completed by lunch.  The professionally installed gutters look great, and they match the color of our house trim.  Joseph came out after the job was completed and inspected it.  He also made sure that I was happy with it.  Joseph is easy to work with and his services are very fairly priced.  I highly recommend Apthorp Construction to anyone needing gutter work.

Joseph (owner) made an appointment to bid and measure home for rain gutters.  Extremely efficient, easy to work with and fair with pricing on March 14, 2015.  Professionally installed gutters, leaf screens and cement splash guards on March 19, 2015.  Would highly recommend company due to high standards of workmanship with owner participation, supervision and expertise.
