Ron Gates and his assistant Deb arrived on a Monday morning and completed the job on that Friday. They first cleaned all surfaces thoroughly, then taped off areas to be protected (walls, countertops, floors, etc). Ron removed each cabinet door and each drawer (I emptied them ahead of time) and he worked in my garage in a "tent-like" area that he constructed. The drawer fronts and doors were hand-sprayed with multiple layers of color and sealant, while the indoor surfaces were hand-rubbed with the identical color. The results were amazing and I'm extremely pleased. Truly NO MESS or ODOR -- and NO DUST. All I had to do was empty the drawers and remove the knobs (because we were changing to new knobs) - Ron did all the rest, and he left my kitchen in perfect condition (garage too, as he set up a magnificent drying rack where the door fronts rested in-between each coat of stain. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to renew their cabinets and/or change the color. It is so satisfying to know that I didn't have to invest in new cabinets and endure the horrid mess associated with replacement. My walls, tile, countertop, ceiling and floor were all protected well. I have nothing but praise for this company and Ron Gates in particular. The results have me nearly dizzy with joy, and for the first several days after completion I had to keep stepping into the kitchen and other rooms just to "re-experience" the "WOW-GOLLY-GEE" emotions all over again. It's like moving into a new home!!

UPDATE 10/1/2012:  The first year of so after this work I was happy, but then my cabinets began to chip and the dark colored stain came off.  I couldn't find any type of stain that would adhere to the surface and cover the chips.  Very disappointed in this, but rather than call Ron back I simply decided to have all the kitchen cabinets painted a lighter color.  My bathrooms and laundry room did not chip like the kitchen though, so not sure what actually caused the problem.  I would not be inclined to used Nhance again.
