"I apologize you were not completely satisfied with your experience with our company. Unfortunately the dishwasher you provided had an issue that prevented us from installing it the first trip out. Upon returning after the dishwasher issue was corrected, we did install it at a discounted rate. We appreciate your business and look forward to the opportunity to work with you again. We strive to provide the best service possible to each and every one of our clients and we will do whatever is necessary to keep our customers happy. Please contact our office at 972-681-4434 if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you, Cody Simpson"
The plumber called me promptly at 11:04am and said he was on his way. The plumber and assistant arrived and reviewed the situation. He assured me that the leak was in the water line, not the sprinklers (it was) and that my missing sprinkler junction box was probably buried by sod a few feet away (it was). Options were to find & repair the leak or spend a bit more and replace the line. Due to the age of my house and the fact that many of my neighbors have already replaced their line, I decided on a replacement. The estimate was for $1900 with the job to start the next day at 9am since it would take most of a day.
The next day two workers showed up ready to dig out the line. It involved going under the sidewalk, circumventing a large tree, and through a flower bed. They were also dealing with a lot of rocks, tree roots, sprinklers and conduit for my 220v landscaping lights. All digging was done by hand using shovels. They quickly located the missing sprinkler junction box exactly where they predicted it would be. They dug a neat trench, laying aside the sod and flowers. Around noon the plumber showed up. He hooked up a new white PEX line. He put in a new shutoff valve at the house, replacing the old rusty ancient one.
They finished up the job in the afternoon, around 3pm. The worker that finished up the cleanup checked with me before leaving. Not only do I have water, but my sod and landscaping looks fine and my sprinklers and yard lights still work.
outside beam. They had to chisel out the beam around the pipe and a Tee fitting. They replaced the Tee and retested. There was no leaking from the repair however the system still would not hold water. There's another much slower leak which I told them to hold off on. I'll get to it when I save up some more money. They repoured the beam and tamped the backfill up under the house and in the and quot;pitand quot;. They mounded the backfill over the pit somewhat and suprisingly didn't have much dirt left over which they scattered along my
fence and foundation, (my request). I think they had compentent plumbers on the job. About the only downside was the van they were driving was leaking oil in my driveway pretty bad which I caught on the last day. I used paint thinner and cat litter on the oil which pretty much came up but not completly. At my request they did schedule the work a week earlier than they first said they could. Once they started they showed up every day until the job was finished.
I was able to make a quick appointment. He had to dig up the valve box in incredible heat and replace all the pipe - soldered this time! He was very polite and professional. How refreshing, being a single woman with many bad experiences with service providers!
He also had no trouble performing a water and sewer leak test that another company was not. The other company's man couldn't even find the flush out pipes outside! It was a huge relief to me that there were no leaks.
My sister and I are now lifetime Total Plumbing customers for life - sure wish we had discovered them (they were actually a referral from a realtor) months if not years ago!!!
Very satisfied with the quality of work and will use them again for any other plumbing work that I need.
Call Total Plumbing Service for estimate to fix leak and replacemen of all existing plumbing needed under sink in order to facilitate replacement of cabinet floor under kitchen sink.. Plumber arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. He replaced all piping, tested for leaks or any other drainage problems and finding none then proceeded to clean up the work area.
