I paid a deposit to Jorge for a patio cover back in January, he gave me the run around for months. I had lost my job and I have my HVAC go out, he said he might be able to refund me but then said he can?t (this was in February). I was understanding since he said he only had 14k in the bank. I then suggested we switch the scope of work to something cheaper and he never gave me quote over that until May when I terminated services due to his lack of communication, he completely ghosted me. He truly believes that he is in the right for not completing the dog kennels he started and not even starting on the patio itself. No materials were purchased and I believe he is very much ?Robbing Peter to pay Paul?. The last review I wrote he asked me to remove since we had come to an understanding that he would do the work but again here we are in August and he is ghosting all text messages and phone calls. I?ve known this man for close to a decade and he has forever lost my business.

Jorg Spires from Spires Roofing & Remodeling and his crew were awesome. Jorg explained and showed photos f everything that needed to be done. He was extremely knowledgeable in roofing repairs and explained everything to me. He was the only one while quoting that put everything he was going to do and the price in writing. His price was very good and he came and did the job in very short time before rain arrived again. I would highly recommend Spires Roofing & Remodeling and I definitely will use them again for any projects in the future.

George was GOD sent and a true blessing. Please try this company first. I attempted to get a quote from 3 other companies which came To my house And was not necessarily interested in the work that I needed. They attempted to drama up projects which would cost me more money.to their benefit. I made one more attempt to find a roofer. And then I found George at SPIRES R&R I'll say it again GOD sent.

They did a perfect job on my roof, very easy to work with, good price.

They were very professional, personable, and had excellent rates. I will continue to use their service and I would highly recommend them!

We hired the firm to do lots of work around the house for us. Unfortunately, we gave too much prepayment - and our job was delayed for 1 week. When they finally started we had 2 weeks before we had to move in, and when we moved on Aug 29th, additional 2 weeks went by without results. The workers would come in, spent time at the project, take breaks, and will not finish anything. we had to fire them after 2 weeks living in the dust and contraction zone. All of the calls to Mr. Spires were pointless - he would make a promise to finish soon, and this soon kept delaying, he was barely on the site himself, and the overall quality of work left to be desired more. Strongly do not recommend hiring them and do not give them too much money - the only time George really came in is when he wanted another prepayment.

Mr. Spires is very knowledgeable and communicative. He repaired a scupper on a flat roof that my roofer wouldnâ t do., and seemed concerned to do it before it rained. He then reached out to me to make sure the repair worked after we had a big rain. I hope to use him for any future roof problems, and would recommend him to others.

I knew I wanted to work with him when he was willing to come out on a holiday and fix my roof. That is the kind of service you just don't that much anymore.

Came out promptly to give estimate. Gave thorough explanation of what needed to be done and what would be done to solve the problem. Also gave veteran's discount, which was appreciated. Work was completed the next day and job warranted for 2 years, transferrable. Workers were friendly, courteous and professional.

It took months for Mr Spires to return calls from me and he has done work for me in the past. I had been begging him to start the project that we had agreed upon in the spring. He put me off so long that during the June rain bomb , my house flooded ONLY because he had not done the work that should have been started a month earlier, but failure to communicate with me cost me thousands of dollars if indoor repair AND THEN also approximately 10K on the work he should have done months before, which would have kept my house from flooding. When I asked over and over again for a clearly written scope of work and cost he said he would over and over again. There is a warranty on his work and I want a clearly written statement. He will not return my calls or texts. I would never work with him again.

$4400 later, I still have a leak. Don't trust this guy. At first it seemed like I had found a good contractor - he was friendly, appeared to know exactly what he was doing. His crew showed up and did the job more or less on schedule. He gave me a written 2 year guarantee for the repairs he made. The first rain storm after the repair it was still leaking every bit as bad as before the repair. I had to call, text and email a few times before getting a response, but then one of his guys came back out and repaired the repair. A few weeks later, we had another storm and 1/3 of the leaks were still present. I called at least a dozen times, texted about the same, sent a half dozen emails over about a month trying to get him back out. I sent videos of the leaks and reminded him he had guaranteed the work. I finally sent a note advising him that I could give him another week to return the call and arrange the repair or I would have to give him a poor review. Zero response in about 2 months of trying to get the guy on the phone. I then found he is not licensed or registered as a contractor within my county. Right after the 2nd repair, but before I found out the 2nd repair did not fix the leaks, I also hired him to handle some interior repairs on our cabinets. His cabinet guy showed up, looked at our cabinets, said he needed to switch out the hardware he brought to install, said he would be back in an hour and that was the last I heard of him. I never heard from Jorge again either. Seemed like a really nice, hard working guy up front, but does not stand behind his work and if you do not owe him money you can forget about a call back. And his guarantee is utterly worthless. I have to hire another contractor to complete the repair. UPDATE: about 3 weeks after posting this review, Jorge got back in touch and sent out the same two guys to fix the problem (4 months of completely ignoring me later!!) His guys were very pleasant and told me the reason the leak was happening was due to the direct sun exposure on the sealant - they said they'd made the bead fine so it would look good, but that it didn't stand up to the weathering due to being in the sun almost all day, which made sense. So, they put in a much thicker sealant line and suggested I paint the area to help protect the seal. I thanked them and the leak went away. A couple days later, Jorge called to tell me the repair wasn't covered by his guarantee because the leak was caused by the house foundation moving, but that he would eat the cost. This was clearly not accurate. Jorge then contacted Home Advisor and claimed I was making false statements and that nothing I had put in this review was true. I then supplied Home Advisor with complete documentation of every text message, email message, photo, videos sent to Jorge including date stamps to demonstrate that my description was accurate. I am 100% sure that if I had not posted my experience on Home Advisor, Jorge would never have made the repairs and I would not have heard from him every again. I will say Jorge talked a lot about his $30k and $60k jobs and while I understand that my project was on the small side, he still took the work and my money and then ignored me when his repairs didn't work. While they were finally repaired, it was a frustrating experience that took several months would not have happened without being able to post this review. Be careful using this guy. Negotiate a daily penalty for every day the work isn't completed by the agreed upon finish day, and also make sure the contract spells out a daily penalty for every day any additional repair work is left incomplete under his guarantee -- I think things would have been fine if our agreement specified he had 2 weeks to complete any repairs under the guarantee and thereafter would owe me $50 per day until repairs were completed.

Owner - Jorg Spires - is a great person. Very professional and did everything exactly as we discussed - on schedule. I highly recommend this company.

He has a lot of work, so sometimes timing of work schedules requires flexibility

The contractor was prompt, cordial. My only concern is that the metal binding was put back on the chimney cover still bent. This doesn't present the best view for my house. I don't know how expensive a repair of a chimney cover would normally be but it seemed very costly considering that the covering was just sat back on the chimney and not replaced.

Roof leak in tile roof repaired well and quickly.

Had a really bad leak. Jorgs and Justin spent a half day and said they felt it was fully repaired. Then it rained. Unfortunately, the leak was not repaired. Called Jorgs and he and Justin came right over and made a successful repair. This says volumes with respect to their integrity. Would highly recommend these folks.

We were completely satisfied with the work they did in replacing some shingles. We would refer them for sure!

Did a good job and cleaned up before they left.

They took the time to take pictures of my roof leak problem, found other potential future problems, told me what they would recommend, and did the job quickly when I approved their bid. They were professional and thorough, at a price that was more than fair. I have asked them for another bid on a different repair because of their excellent response and work on my leak.
