The overall work didn’t turn out well with me. He didn’t do the things that he said that he would. He said that he would put some things around the foundation and he didn’t do that. There was one hump and he was supposed to remove that and put the mud from that around the foundation and he didn’t do that. He did not level the surface and it was left with large clogs and lots of space in between it and so he was just not thorough. He was supposed to clean up the shrub beds and he only did a superficial job with that. He was supposed to do some trimming and did only some trimming and left 6inches branches out from the trees which was dangerous. He just did not do a thorough job. He didn’t do work worth the money I paid him. His price was expensive for the work that he did. I wouldn’t use him again in the future.

The work was substandard even for a  good spring clean up.  The shrub beds were not cleaned well, dead leaves were left bunched around the bases of the plants.  Instead of cutting tree branches close to the trunk, 4-6 inch spikes were left jutting out from the trunk.  He partially filled only one low area around the foundation with dirt from a near-by hump but didn't bother to break up the clods or smooth out the dirt.  They did not bring in additional dirt for the other low areas as he said he would.   How he justified charging $200 for the job he did is beyond logic.  I ended up going over and redoing much of the work myself.

We have found our new landscaper! Russell did an amazing job on our flower beds! The look the best they have ever looked! Very affordable! Russell knows alot about trees, and he answered a ton of questions for us! Really nice guy! He even let our 7 year old get her hands dirty and help spread some mulch. We will be using him in the future for sure!

The owner provided same day service. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He and his crew were professional and friendly. They did a great job mowing and edging. My only minor complaint is that long grass clippings were left behind on the back lawn after the weedeating was done. I didn't realize that had happened until after they'd left or I'm sure they would have cleaned that up at my request. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased a number of large shrubs from a local nursery and Russell was able to collect them, deliver them to my house, and install them in my yard successfully. He has been my regular "yard guy" for over a year, and has always been very professional and thorough in his work. He has taken on some of the tasks I dislike the most (bed maintenance) and has succeeded in eliminating some of the toughest weeds and volunteer plants that had invaded my patio and flower beds (that other services could not seem to do). He has done other small jobs for me as well, like straightening my gate and repairing a defective sprinkler head--very prompt, always courteous and helpful. Russell provides a rare level of customer service and regularity in the lawn care and landscaping business. He is the kind of guy who I would recommend to my closest friends and family.
