BABB'S WINDOWS & SCREENS

       Scott and his contractor Noah came to replace 3 windows.  The window that was fogging  was the only window that was replaced that didn't have a problem.   A 2nd window originally  the seals were broken and Babb's replaced it but when it rained water leaked into the house. Scott came back out and caulked it which corrected the problem.  The 3rd window in an upstairs bathroom was leaking air.  Babb's replaced it and there was still a problem of air leaking.  When Scott came back to look at it his anwser was to either seal it completely shut or put a piece of tissue paper under it to keep it from leaking air!  He put a piece of tissue paper under the window and left.
OUr bathroom faces the street and in the winter it was very cold as air was still seeping out of the window.  I called Scott and left 2 messages for him to call me back as this obviously wasn't going to solve the problem. After 2 weeks of waiting, I tried again.  He answered and was quite rude. He said I was lying about the window and that it was fogged and wouldn't keep the cold air out. I told him that was a different window that was fogging and he had repaired it. I had no reason to lie. He said he never told me that replacing a window would hlep keep the cold air out! I asked why I would hire him to replace windows then. He told me to take it to the BBB for arbitration and wasn't going to let anyone run over him. He then hung up on me! 

I've never been called a liar or hung up on by any businessman ever. Usually if a customer has a complaint about how work is done or the work is unsatisfactory a business will bend over backwards to keep a customer satisfied. This is not what Babb's windows represents at all.   If this is how you want to be treated as a customer and not get what you paid for then use Babb's windows.
   

Owner of company called a day before to schedule my installation of the screens and window, installers arrived on time, were very professional and pleasant, did a great job, cleaned up after and my house looks great with my new solar screens and clear window. I recommend this company to anyone and will use them again in the future, they were great! 

His price was quite reasonable. He was very professional. He came out and looked at everything and gave me a written estimate. Then we scheduled the day when his tech would come and he showed up on time. He took care of what needed to be taken care of. I think he had some problem when he was trying to replace the window but I don?t think it was his fault. Sometimes things happen in the process. He never charged me anymore; it was just the condition of the window that he was working on.

Great, he came out a week before and measured. Rescheduled when glass came in. He was prompt, replaced the glass and it looks great. I expressed my concern about the glass breaking when I have my foundation adjusted. He said if they break he will replace the glass for free.
