I wanted to report a very disturbing interaction with this company who empties the porta-potties in our neighborhood lake park. Today I watched from my porch, the driver of the truck barrel down a blind turn, ignore a stop sign, and hit at least 10 miles over the speed limit in my residential neighborhood. We have deer, kids, dogs, people walking and bicyclists all over the streets. Today there were several deer in the road at the time and the driver did not even break or slow down. Instead he sped up and slammed on his horn. THANK GOD, it was just deer and not children playing in the street or dogs running around in the yard or people walking down the road as we all so often do. We live in a quiet suburb between Bee Caves and Westlake It was so wreckless I felt compelled to walk down to the lake park and get a picture of the license plate so I could called the company to report the wreckless behavior. WaIking back, I actually had to warn two women and their dog to step out of the road when he was driving back out of the lake park. I got a call back from a "supervisor" JEREMI GONZALES who was EXTREMELY unprofessional and down right rude. He told me that he would check his drivers cameras to confirm what I had told him was even true, but that he wasn't calling to apologize for his driver - nor would he, and that if anyone or anything is in the street and gets hit by his driver that its our own faults. We are in a rural community with no sidewalks and everyone walks and bikes down the road. Anyone that cares about their business or reputation, or even takes a minimum amount of pride in their work would NEVER answer a neighborhood complaint about safety like this. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone using them or considering them to look into alternatives for septic services as they do not care about the safety of your neighborhood or the people who live in it. I have informed the board at the Lake Park as well and they will be evaluating replacements.

Quote on phone was around $550.00 plus $30,00 per hose in excess of about 90 feet. Final bill was $920.00, which was totally unexpected. I used this company before in 2015, same service was $565.00 with 3 additional hoses. They did not charge me extra to pump the second tank with the pump in it. I was able to find the original invoice and compared it to the one I received yesterday for the same service. This time they charged me for 4 hoses--an extra $120.00 Also, they driver who serviced the tank decided it took too long to pump and added $200.00 to the bill without first discussing it with me. I objected and after a bit of discussion he took the $200.00 off. I was not happy with the drivers attitude--he told me they try to do these services fast "in-and-out". After some more talking about how this service took longer then he thought it would, I told him I would solve his issue by no longer using their services. His response was something to the effect of "that's probably a good idea". Left oil on my drive way from their truck I had to clean up. Driver paid no attention to where he placed the hoses for the servicing of the tank. Let the heavy hoses fall onto the landscape bushes I had. While I don't expect much form a septic tank driver, I would have appreciated a bit more respect for the placement of the equipment. Also, would have pushed the issue of why there was an additional 4th hose when the last time they were here they only needed 3. I called the office to discuss but gave up when I realized I was talking to someone who probably really didn't care... Definitely don't recommend.

This is the third time I have used this company. I have used them twice to have the tanks pumped out and once to have risers installed.
The company is very responsive! Although it wasn't necessary, they got me on their schedule almost immediately.
Being in a new neighborhood, the drive was a little late in finding us, but once he did, he went right to work. He was done in no time and even offered us a suggestion to help us keep our system in good working order.
Overall, a good job! I would definitely use them again!

Update, June 2013: The below review I submitted in April, but yesterday, two months later, I called Superior because my sump pump alarm was once again going off. I spoke with the owner Bill at 5 pm and by 9 am the next morning Mike was at my door. Within an hour he was done looking things over, making sure it all worked properly, and at no charge. In this day and age of huge chains and franchises, this kind of personalized service and interaction is truly rare, but very much appreciated.
April 2013: When my sump pump alarm went off, I originally called a chain competitor of Superior. They did absolutely nothing for me, but it was actually the worker of that competitor who mentioned Superior to me. I called them right away and spoke to the owner Bill. They were prepared to send someone right away, which impressed me. When Mike arrived he took the sump apart (which the competitor didn't even bother to do) and explained to me that it was burnt out. He had come prepared with a spare sump pump in his truck and changed it out for me. Not cheap, but what choice did I have? After, he cleaned up the mess the pump had made. I'm not sure about the going rate for sump pumps, so I can only say that I wasn't shocked at the thousand dollar price tag. What most impressed me was how fast and responsive they were and how quickly the job was done. I will definitely use them again.

It was a rare rainy weekend in Austin and the nonstop rain filled my septic tank and septic field. On Monday morning when my septic alarm was sounding, I knew I had to get someone here quickly so my family could shower and get out the door for our busy schedules. I called Superior and they were here within the hour, pumped my septic tank, and my family wasn't even out of bed yet. Emergency averted.

The work turned out to be good. I actually kept their card and I would probably call them back. The person that came out gave me a much better explanation about the functionality of the system than the two people that I?ve had out over the past five years. I had one come out originally when I bought the house which was required for inspection. Then I had one come out five years later and he didn?t do a good job on it. Since he didn?t do a job last time, I was wondering if it was right to hire him this time. Basically this time I found the explanation of the functionality of the system to be good. I had operated on what was causing my problem. There were two septic tanks and it wasn?t pumping up properly. The previous guy only pumped out one of them. This guy knew I had two separate tanks there. There was a problem pumping from both of them. I had to repeat the service eleven months later instead of five years later. The way this guy did it, I won?t need to do it for the next five or six years. He was honest. He did the job and did it right. He was quick and on time. They were fast. They do appointments with somebody else if you don?t get them on time. They were faster than I had anticipated. I expected them to come the next day and take a longer time to complete the work. I would use their services again in the future.

They were great to deal with and did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it!
