It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a great and fantastic job. It was the usual A+ stuff that I enjoy off of Angie's List. I didn't pay any additional. They came on time and they provided really good service. The A/C system worked as well afterwards as it did before so they did a good job of cleaning it up. The price was fair especially considering how much he had to climb through my ceiling. They called back quickly and they arrived early. They arrived clean and left clean. They cleaned up after themselves.

They had to do 2 units and let me have the same price for both. They were very professional.

They did a good job on the installation and were very professional. It has only been one week since the installation, but there have been no problems to date. In order to install the new line set, they had to remove a 12? wide section of sheetrock in my garage from floor to ceiling. The garage wall was restored to like new within an hour after the new line set was installed. Great scheduling of Sheetrock subcontractor.

Chris was very professional and very engaging. He came ready to work with shoe booties if needed and jumped right in and did the work. When done he made some minor recommendations, and he was done. I will definitely do business with SOS in the future. They did a great job.

SOS arrive on time, installed the equipment as specified and finished in very good time. Their work was efficient, professional and on budget. The product they installed functioned perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased. SOS Mechanical has my vote without question.

We have done business with SOS in the past and were extremely pleased with them. So when I saw that had a tune up deal I jumped on it. Had to reschedule a couple of times but they were courteous, prompt, and did an excellent job. Had a couple of rooms that were hotter than the rest of the house and the tech answered my questions. The owner came out and took a look at things and offered up some suggestions. Super nice guys. Will continue to do business with them.

Since the summer weather has been so hot, I wanted my AC system to be checked so that I could find out if there were any issues with it. The tech Chris showed up at my home on time and he was very professional. He did some testing of the AC system both inside and outside of my home. It took him 45 minutes or so to do all the testing and he discussed the results with me and answered my questions. It was a good experience and I would hire them again to do work on my AC system in the future.

We were very satisfied. We paid $90 in addition to the big deal purchase because they added something that was needed. The man was very professional. He gave us a lot of very good information as to the capacity of the air conditioner and at what point we might consider getting something maybe a little bit bigger than what they carry, not necessarily that we have to buy from them. He was informative. I would use them again. He felt that it would do a lot better with cooling if we added the extra coolant. The house is definitely a lot cooler. We had the sun in May before it got really hot. The house is very comfortable. The air conditioner is running more than I wish it would. We had set the temperature at 75 and I moved it up to 78. The air conditioner does work really well. It keeps the house really cool. Whatever he did, did seem to make a difference.

Technician showed up on time and performed the a/c testing. He was very professional and explained everything. Will definitely use them again.

Nothing but arguments from them. I want a refund.

Sunday afternoon I purchased Tune up service from SOS Mechanical. Later that afternoon I noticed my unit not cooling, so the first thing I checked was my breaker box...sure enough my a/c breaker had popped. This continued for about 2 hours until I got an electrician out to change my breakers. Well...unfortunately the same new breakers kept popping off. I then called SOS and informed them of my issue and even though they were pretty much booked for the day, they made an exception and fit me in within a couple of hours from my call...amazing! The technician was professional, courteous, and didn't mind me following him and asking questions (big plus). He did a great job of diagnosing and cleaning my system. I realized that I would probably have to pay an additional service charge for the call on top of my Tune up purchase but SOS made an exception and just charged me for the Tune up. Nice to know that there are businesses out there that care about the service they provide and are not just out to make that extra dollar. Kudos to SOS!!

First, he checked the unit (located in the garage). Algae had accumulated in the overflow hose. He flushed out the hose and recommended how to prevent future problems with algae. He then proceeded to the compressor outside the house. The side panels were removed and sprayed with a direct stream of water to clean out the dust and debris that had accumulated. Our A/C is humming and performing well in this July heat.

SOS Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning did a great job. I didn't have to pay more than the big deal purchase. They arrived when they said they would arrive. The guy was very professional and polite. He did the work that was requested.

Went very well. We are happy with the work, detail. And outcome.

I purchased two $60 Big Deal pre-season checkups. Before purchasing, I told SOS that my condensate line was blocked and asked if their checkup included clearing the drain lines. They said of course it did. But after providing service, they insisted that the big deal didn't include clearing the condensate line after all and charged extra for it. I also asked them to install two float switches. These also came in much higher than I had expected at $139 each for about 15 minutes of work. My overall service bill came in much higher than I've paid other companies for similar work in the past. Upon checking Angieslist today, I see that they have another Big Deal checkup offer. This one also says it includes the condensate drain lines. Don't believe them!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were supposed to come out and do a tune up and just a general inspection, that was what the contract was for but they didn't do any of that. I told them that my unit needed freon so they put some 3 pounds of freon in at $60 a pound so they charged me $180. So far as I know, they didn't do any of the other. They were nice and did what I asked and I wanted to get the unit running and they got it running but they didn't do any of the other. They were okay.

SoS was very professional, and were easy to talk to. The technician that came to see me was very nice. I would recommend them to anyone else looking for a free estimate for their heating and air conditioning unit.

After I bought the "Deal" I got a call from SOS and I wasn't ready to schedule. After we set a date, and then I called back having forgotten an appoint, which the office took it stride, we set a new date and time. Chris called and let me know he was running just a little late, and then was here. It is so helpful if someone is running late, (or early) that they let you know. We started at our home, and then on to the rental. He was very helpful and let us know of any issues, things to watch for etc. Thankfully, there were no real issues, it was just a clean and check on our units. We were very happy with our service.

I was very pleased to hear that our 6 year-old A/C system was in perfect working order. It was a pleasure working with SOS Mechanical, and I would hire them to repair our A/C in the future, should problems arise.

Technician was very professional. He pointed out one thing that could be better but also mentioned that it was only a suggestion to be more in line with standards of the AC industry. Specifically, the inlet temp and the discharge temp of the upstairs unit was not as good as it should be. He explained that this was not as a result of any pending "problem" necessarily, but a funtion of an orifice tube that was installed when the house was built that that was incorrectly sized. He told me that while the best answer to get the temperature delta closer to specs would be to replace this orifice tube with a larger one, doing so was not critical - just would make the unit more efficient. In the end, we did not replace the tube - opting to engage our home warranty providedr to see if there was an option for them to pick up the cost on that.
